I'm using NullDC, now when I choose a game, I exit from Gameex for approx 1 second, the the game loads up. Same thing happens when I exit the game. Is this normal? Any way to fix it? It's not a MAJOR problem because the emu works fine, it's just annoying me.

No. I have not deleted any clones because I enabled (no clones) in the advanced config. Could it be that enabling (no clones, do not allow imperfect games) will affect this? It states next to the 'Do not filter' field that this overrides absolutely everything and so I assumed not. I just don't understand why it appears after the list updates but then disappears.

I am running the latest version yes. After I hit 'update list' the games appear, but when I hit backspace or move around in the menu, it seems to reset itself and the games disappear.

I've just realised, when I hit updaye list, the game I have listed in field 'do not filter' appears, but as soon as I exit GameEX and go back in, it's disappeared. Any ideas?

I have deleted/filtered Simpsons (parent rom) from my games list. For some reason it doesnt work but one of the clones do, and so I have added it to the 'DO NOT FILTER' field, yet it does not appear. In fact, it appeared once and then disappeared and I dont know why. Any ideas?

For emu games (MAME, ZSNES etc) how do you reset last played, favourites etc?

I'm stuggling to decide on a key configuration for my ipac (1P start, 2P start, 1P credit, 2P credit, 2 x 6 player buttons). I'm using MAME, ZSNES, and FUSION. I've decided on 1,2,3,4 for the player start and credit buttons, but not sure on joytsicks and player buttons. Does everyone use a set config? Are there optimium configs? Safe configs? Buttons to avoid etc? Would appreciate any advice.

Hi, just wondering if tracker and spinner games are playable without trackers and spinners (in MAME). I've played a few now and they seem to work OK, or am I completely missing certain options/controls that only tracker/spinner can provide? Thanks.

I have just created 100+ avi's which were missing from my Genesis collection. However, on loading them into my avi folder, whenever I load GameEX and start scrolling through the games, GameEX freezes after a few seconds. Any idea what's happened? Thanks.

Well what's confusing me is that I have 860+ snes roms, whereas the database files only show 730+. Can anyone explain why that is? Thanks.

Thanks Stu. I've been using Access for the last hour. I've only managed to change the category of 40 games. Only another 700 to go Are there any good dats already in existence that simplify the games into a handful of categories, like Fighting, Platform etc. I notice the GameEX ones are a little inaccurate and there are too many categories for my liking.

I want to edit the datafiles that come with GameEX. I know how to access them via Microsoft Access, however, how do you add/delete categories? So for example, if I wanted to change FIGHTING to BEAT 'EM UP, how would I do that? Thanks.
