Hi, The only way I can find to convert roms from 7z to zip is to do each one manually. When you select ALL and add to zip, they go into one large folder instead of there own individual named folders. Any help much appreciated on how to do this batch scale.

Where can I find catver.ini for mame?

Yeah I've selected the correct databases. However, I still cannot find a way of filtering by category. On MAME I can see the categories to my left but dont know how to use them. On the other emu's, there's nothing. Am I meant to do something in the config?

How on earth can you list games by category? For example: Platform Shooter Soccer etc etc I use mame, zsnes, and fusion THANKS!

Switched to Fusion. Works like a dream now! Wooohooo Anyone know how to have the facility to search for games based on: Platform Shooter Soccer etc etc ?????????????

OK: The games now load but all I get is a black screen. I can hear the game in the background though. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Thanks for that. But I really don't want to be changing emu's at this stage. I would much rather just get GENS working.

I've set up my config based on those listed on the forums (and verified as correct). GameEX sees all my gen files but when I try to open any, the screen goes blank for a second, then reverts back to GameEX menu. Can anyone help or point me to a past post that explains how to set Gens up in GameEX. Thanks.
