  1. I had the same problem. Was going through withdrawals.
  2. Tom will be directed to this topic as it may be a bug after doing some testing. Please stay tuned! Sorry for the inconvenience guys! Damon! If you would please post log and runitgame.bat contents after running a game where there is no sound please to confirm this issue.
  3. Meet in chat room for real time support. If not then we'll try to narrow things down.
  4. Try copying your mame.ini file to your main mame directory and test again please.
  5. Yes that is the file you posted which should be located in the same directory as your executable to run mame. What I'm asking is if there's also a mame.ini file in the ini directory as well. Being that you're running the UI version, I've seen where it creates another mame.ini file that may conflict.
  6. Do you by chance have a mame.ini file in your ini directory as well?
  7. Hmmmm. Not aware of that switch. Just leave at 0. Do you have a default.ini in the ini directory? Volume is the one you would change to something to change the default value (0). That's of course you wanted to do some testing.
  8. Do you have a mame.ini file in your main MAME directory?
  9. I too have tried and tested all 3 since being into emulation for awhile now. While XPadder is great and works well in emulation, I too use Pinnacle Game Profiler as well. It's just a matter of preference.
  10. Thanks Tom!

  12. Thanks for the description and glad you got it figured out. These posts are best kind. LOL.

  14. Correct as mentioned above.
  15. Perhaps those are generated during attractmode. Those were the files I meant for you to look for before. If you don't have any particular settings in them then simply delete them all and they will be rebuilt.
  16. Thanks Tom!
  17. Check the cfg files in the your cfg directory of your mame directory. Open one of those files with a file editor and see if those files have anything related. These files could be overriding the default value.
  18. Thanks Tom!
  19. I use Frodo and like it very much. Although I don't have comparison to earlier versions as I came from using Windows 7 Media Center along with Mediabrowser.
  20. Happy late birthday Jer! Sorry took so long to post. Been out of commission with my typing since last week. Hope you had a great day!

Thanks for the report. Maybe a bug in Setup Wizard? We will have a look. For the mean time, just install GameEx with the installer and choose the karaoke setting to be installed.
