  7. Thanks Tom!
  8. Indeed it does and it has the same name the OP is using. Just didn't show it in the screen shot. So I'm assuming it's just the incorrect use of the command-line.
  9. Using the wrong switch for your controller. Should be: -ctrlr and you have: -ctrl Also verify that the X-arcade.cfg file is in your ctrlr folder in your Mame directory since you're not calling it from another location. From the pics that were uploaded, I'm not seeing it.
  10. Glad you got it sorted out. Enjoy! Can be marked as resolved by yourself or a mod please.
  11. Thanks for the info.
  12. What are you the contents of your map file? To me it's odd that your map file and your database file have the same name. Maybe a mistake there or just that you named your map file the same?
  13. Glad that got sorted out and you're able to enjoy playing. Have fun! Can be marked as resolved by either yourself or by a mod.
  14. No. That is not required. Perhaps your romset doesn't match your MAME version? Meet in chat room for real-time support.
  15. Looks like roms are missing for whatever it is you're trying to run. Please verify your roms and also verify rom path.
  16. Were your roms always uncompressed or later changed? Also which snes config are u actually running since you have 3 of them? What are the contents of your map files? Maybe the list needs to be rebuilt so that they will reflect on that.
  17. That's step 4A. Please follow instructions on 4B and post the results.
  18. Thanks for the news Tom!
  19. Your settings should stay intact with an upgrade. Also, GameEx backs up your settings in case. You could also backup your settings as a safety measure. As far as your issue, the way I would approach this is by troubleshooting with the runitgame.bat file. Instructions on how to do so are on the pinned "How To Ask For Help" topic found on the top of the forums. Follow step 4B on how to do this. This will show the command-line window and will show exactly what's being displayed on the screen and should provide useful info on why it's being returned back to GameEx.
  20. Great! Glad you got it sorted out. Sorry it took awhile to figure out. I've been busy and haven't had time to check this thread. Can now be marked as [RESOLVED].
  21. LOL. I was gonna IM and explain. LOL. The reason they show is because those game files are pointing to the artworkgameex folder according to their ini so they are showing by default during game play. If deleting all files in artworkgameex folder doesn't work then next step would be to delete all the game.ini files so that they default to not show those images.
  22. Please delete all files in the artworkgameex folder found in your mame folder and then try again.
  23. Thank you for the information. And thanks for a screenshot even though you had already posted. By chance do you have a mame.ini file in your mame directory?
