Actually you did which is why your post was modified by a mod. But won't get into details about that since it's said and done. A good way to know which games are supported is to get ahold of the dat file for that system and use a rom manager to verify the roms. You will have a listing of the games supported for that system within that dat file.
Are your files rar'ed and also numbered? I also see that you're using a map file. This seems like this whole setup is messed up. Your roms need to be zipped and the roms need to have their valid name. As far as the map file, I'd have to see the contents of the one you're using. Running in debug mode will give you an idea of why it's not working.
As far as using Zinc as a stand-alone emulator, the problem is as followed: GamesIn7Zips=TrueThis should be set to false. The emulator itself handles the zip file. So there is no need to unzip with GameEx. This would cause issues.
As suggested, moving the location of those files and setting in the emulator itself is the best way. But to filter them out, you can always just add a filter to the list so that they don't show (i.e "*.zip" will show all zip files only).
Seems to be detecting Media Center when running so therefor launches it on exit. Is the media center process running by chance at that time? Does task manager show any of the media center processes on startup?
A database will need to be created. Try using the already included MAME database and see if it fits your needs. If not, use it as a guide to complete your own.
This part is what bothers me. How can the task manager be blank? It should show some processes! Important ones that windows needs to run. First thought is that your OS is having issues due to maybe the tweaks that were made mentioned by the OP.
Above shows the OP states that the Launch Before works perfect. Yet to me it wouldn't since quotes were not used there as well. I never know what I'm talking about and you are sure right about post being too long for my attention either. LOL.
Definitely the most underused troubleshooting technique as well as debug mode (which isn't available in mame mode so this is an exception). What I can't figure out is how in the world it worked in the launch before if it would have given the same issue?!?
Why no quotes in the executable itself, as it has spaces?!? C:\Program Files (x86)\DisplayFusion\DisplayFusionCommand.exe -wallpaperloadprofile ""Default Profile"" Should be: "C:\Program Files (x86)\DisplayFusion\DisplayFusionCommand.exe" -wallpaperloadprofile ""Default Profile""
