  1. Anything is possible as I use the dat files to generate the map files that I share with the community. But this is really only beneficial to Arcade systems as the rom name is different from the description name. There wouldn't be a use for this at all IMO. No-Intro and TOSEC dats are different. Their rom names match their description name. So having to update the map files isn't necessary. GameEx will generate a map file based on your files. If for some reason your new games are not being listed then just delete the map file for that emulator and a new map file will be generated.
  2. You do realize that this was a post from March 2008?
  3. Anything is possible. It would just require a change in code. This would be a feature request. Best to post in the dedicated thread if this is wanted. As of now though this is how it works by design.
  4. The only way to display artwork is if you have Show MAME Bezel set to No in Attract/Screensaver settings. It then defaults to the original command-line as well as adds the volume switch to mute it. So if your mame.ini file is set to show artwork or if your command-line is set to show them then they will show in attract mode. This does however lose out on the information included on the bottom of the screen.
  5. Thanks!
  6. A quick return usually indicates an issue with the command-line (could be incorrect paths, the exe, or even parameters). Please try troubleshooting by following Step 4B in the link i directed you to before and post the results. Also, did you install ISO Mounting Support? This is required to use the [-VIRTUALDRIVE-] parameter!
  7. Step 1 in how to ask for help found here.
  8. Version 1.0 would error on change to fullscreen but version 0.9 would work fine. User has the latest directx. Not sure if hardware is up-to-date. Any help would be appreciated.
  9. Perhaps that may show something useful? What are your video settings? Meet me in chat for real-time support.
  10. During testing, I received no crashes. This probably goes back to your video settings. Any details about the crash?
  11. It would be best to export your config so that we can see all the settings you have for this emulator. Also what are the details of it not starting? Does GameEx try to run the emulator and then returns back right away? Please give more detail so we know how to direct you to troubleshoot.
  12. This issue is resolved!
  13. You have to load your CD32.uae config and then make the change and then save it again. It's also possible to make the change in command-line as well. But try through the config as it will make your command-line cleaner and also what a config is for. If you want real-time support I'll hang around in the chat room found in the link tab on top of forums for awhile. I also changed the command-line to make it a little cleaner. The -G switch is the same as -s use_gui=no.
  14. Sorry for getting back to you so late! I was able to download this emulator and see how it works. Please try the following command-line: winuae.exe -f CD32.uae -G -s quickstart=cd32,0 -cdimage="[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" You can get rid of the WaitBeforeKeys and SendKeys settings also as this command-line will start it up automatically. Let me know how that works out for you.
  15. It didn't disappear. It was moved to the request thread so that Tom can see it. Here it is. The request thread is a more appropriate place for it. In the general forums it will get lost and Tom may overlook it. I guess I could have left it as moved in the main forums but then again that would kind of defeat the purpose and not be as tidy. For requests, please post in the dedicated thread.
  16. Happy Birthday!
  17. I don't see the image being mounted anywhere. Does the emulator support cue files? Sorry but I don't use this emulator and would have to download to verify. The reason I assume this is because in the emulator imports, it's showing that virtual clone drive is being used to mount the image.
  18. That's the problem. You're letting them all side by. It's a fricken slide show. LOL.
  19. You should feel guilty. Now I can't even enjoy looking at stuff anymore cuz I know you're gonna throw me under the bus. LOL.
  20. Didn't forget! It just generated after you.
  21. Thank you Tom!
  22. Must have missed the setting in JNES as well. Click on Options Click on Video On Display Tab in Fullscreen group there is a checkbox Go full screen when rom is opened. Yes, as suggested, nestopia is known to be a better emulator by the emulation community. But figured I'd answer your original question.
  23. I didn't think GameEx generated a daphne config. I thought it just wrote the settings to GameEx.ini.
  24. Well! Are you using the same command-line in GameEx that DaphneLoader is using? I wouldn't expect so since it's not working in GameEx. Also look at the log file as the error suggests as it will serve useful.
  25. Different labels will name a song differently. Renaming is useful to name then with the same name. Same goes for artists. Also, it's good for different naming conventions. Different options include, artist, song, discid, etc. So depending on your preference, many things will factor in.
