Yeah. It has some cool features. And is updated frequently. Also gives control to tweak a bit and supports many devices. I highly recommend it as I've tried about more than 5 others before I settled on it.

I use serviio as well for my devices here. It's the only one that I could get to work with my certain device. It's been fine for me. It really comes down to your hardware and the type of files you're using. I had found a list of ones at one time and serviio was the one I stayed with.

Next step would be to troubleshoot in real-time. Perhaps meet in the chat room sometime soon to try a few settings and hopefully resolve this.

Weird how that didn't work at first since DT was suppose to be used by default. But glad it's all working now. Now hurry an put internet on that machine to make it easier.

Do you have both the Windows 7 Codecs and X64 Components installed (Shark007)? What settings have you tried? Are they just the default ones? Do these files play fine using Windows Media Player outside of GameEx?

There are applications called rom managers that handle this. They use dat files that are based off the file and named based on that naming convention. There are many naming conventions out there, So really depends on what you're after.

Marked as resolved! There's a little edit cog on the right of the screen on your post on the main page. Not sure If you're able to edit title as the forums were just updated and I have no way of checking since I'm a mod anyways. But please do post your solution as it may benefit other users if they run into the same issue! Glad you got it sorted.

According to here. DTAgent.exe is the used exe in the command-line as was suggested by nullPointer. I'll be in chat room for real-time support to help troubleshoot if you want. I'm sure it's something that is simply overlooked. Also a config is ALWAYS the best way to post your settings since it will show exactly what you have instead of what you think you have.

Will definitely work if as long as an exit key is setup in this emulator itself. Just not as easy as other emulators. An exit key is not set by default with is emulator and it does not close in a friendly way. Thank for such a great description!

Maybe try using an Advanced Config and also setting an exit key in bsnes?

Yes. I noticed that this emulator is a pain to exit if you don't map an exit key which is set to nothing by default. So as suggested, setting one up is the best thing to do. It would not exit with any key, even Alt+F4. So explains why GameEx is having trouble sending exit key since there isn't one.

You have one too many quotes in your command-line. Change the following: bsnes.exe "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"" to: bsnes.exe "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" This issue was resolved in chat! It was because of the extra quotes.
