  1. Just download the emulator and extract to your location. All files to run should be included besides roms of course. Roms can be in any location. Then setup emulator and point to roms. Then run game. Let's get it started outside of GameEx first and then go from there. As far as setting up as separate for atomiswave, it's probably best to since command-line will change for those roms. Different ways of going about that as far as how you wanna list your systems.
  2. I'm unsure about that dll as it's not one I'm aware of that comes with the emulator. I don't get why you needed to download the dll files either as they come packaged with the emulator. The command-line looks fine. Daemon tools lite is not required in this setup as you're wanting to run the Naomi roms which should remain zipped. What are the results when running the emulator through the gui?
  3. It's best to start a new topic as this issue was resolved. It makes it easier for other users to track as well. Also state issues you are having with Demul so we know what info is needed to assist.
  4. Please try the following command-line: SSF.EXE [-VIRTUALDRIVE-]
  5. When using the [VIRTUALDRIVE] in the command-line then there is no need to use the launch before and after using daemon tools. There may be confliction there. So please try that first.
  6. Thanks Tom! And welcome back.
  7. Indeed is a false positive.
  8. Directing Tom to this topic. Thanks!
  9. Thank you for the news!
  10. Nice! Thanks Tom! Awesome offer!
  11. This is how I understood it as well!
  12. Maybe an advanced config is required to look for the process of the game itself and not the launcher. Hence why it returns back to GameEx. Stuff like this is hard to troubleshoot as this is not emulator related and some of us may not have that particular game.
  13. At times? Try all the time. LOL. Besides, you asked for that one.
  14. An end!
  15. Just wanted to wish you all a Happy Valentines Day! I hope you all have wonderful days with your significant others. Enjoy!
  16. Not only working outside of GameEx but through command-line.
  17. Thanks Tom!

You can add the switches to command line or you can create a config file and edit the switches there. To create a config from command-line, you simply use the following: mame.exe -cc mame.exe being the executable. Could be a number of things depending the the type of mame build that's being used. If you need real-time assistance, I'll be hanging around the chat room for a bit.
  19. Programdata is a hidden folder.

As far as in MAME, the following switches come to mind: I would toy with these switches. I can't give an exact answer as I don't use this hardware myself.
  21. It seems that pressing ESC closes this emulator so you have you tried simply pressing escape to see if the issue can be duplicated?
  22. If there are problems while exiting, perhaps the emulator is conflicting by the way it's closed by GameEx. Maybe try an advanced config to send the correct exit keys to close the emulator cleanly and see if that resolves the issue.
  23. The way the games are being displayed probably have to do with how you have your settings. You could even filter the games out that you don't want displayed to ensure that the game you desire is selected.
