  1. To rebuild the list for emulators, simply just delete the map file associated with that emulator. Map file are located in the DATA folder of your GameEx install. They are defined as EMU_#.map (# being the emulator number slot given in Setup Wizard).
  2. Or that works! LOL. Good deal. Glad you got it sorted. Marking as resolved!
  3. In Fusion you would need to follow these steps: Click on Options Click on CD Drive Select the drive of Daemon Tools Lite Then the command-line for GameEx would be as followed: Fusion.exe -scd -fullscreen[-VIRTUALDRIVE-]
  4. When mounting in daemon tools, you need to change the command-line as well as select the drive in Fusion. I'll be hanging around the chat room for a bit if you want real-time support.
  5. Are you loading with the cue or the bin file when running outside of GameEx? Have you tried alternative method and try mounting the image using daemon tools lite or something similar?
  6. And what were you thinkin? LOL.
  7. Very true which is why I didn't edit post or give warning. Still against rules regardless.
  8. I would say how to obtain roms are against the rules as well. I will talk to the other mods/admins to see how to handle this.
  9. Another thing to try is change the pipeline character "|" or quotes depending on map file to something else so it doesn't match the criteria used by GameEx.
  10. Not as easy to be sent complete setup since no one has the same setup due to hardware, file locations. etc. It would be nice! Setup Wizard does do a good job of importing the settings needed to get started and then just needs some tweaking on your end to point to the correct paths. So it does do a lot of the work for you. Once you'll see how easy it is, you'll be come a pro in no time and won't consider yourself a noob. We have a great community to help you along the way as much as we can. Do not ever feel bad to ask as that's what we're here for. Welcome the the forums!
  11. No. I use my own app that I wrote for this.
  12. These are probably best done by yourself since there will be so many variations of them because of naming conventions and also what others want. Arcade dats are more global. I would just use filters to filter out those games based on your romset and is much easier.
  13. Maybe and advanced config should be used to close correctly. If ESC is working then change the exit key to GameEx so it won't close that as well.
  14. Doh! LOL. Well good to know. We should have thought of that. Glad you got it sorted out.
  15. That's what I meant. Sorted by system or just by playable roms etc. I created them by system since that's what probably most would like too. Check my sig again. Are the sega ones playable cuz that's the only one I haven't created yet?
  16. Very easily. But would that be the best way? Based on command-line, wouldn't all naomi roms would be combined like in the gui?
  17. Probably means that your romset does not match the emulator, hence the missing files. If wanting to use those emulators, then best to rebuild your romset to match the dats created for them. A rom manager tool will be required to do this (i.e. Clrmamepro, RomCenter, etc.).
  18. What missing files are popping up? Do you have a built romset for those emulators based on their dats? What command-lines have you tried? More info please as it will help troubleshoot the issue.
  19. As did I but years of remembering is just too much for me right now. LOL.
  20. Try commenting out with "#" or with a ";" before and see if that works. Years ago I would do this to add a header to my map files and they weren't listed. I don't remember the exact character but give it a try. I am not at my machine so am unable to test.
  21. If you know that then I don't get your reason for asking? Why not just delete from within GameEx or add to the Excluded Files option in Advanced Emulator Setup and then can remove from there when you're wanting to show again.
  22. Simply remove that line from the map file and that game will not show up in the list.
  23. Ok. Welcome back. Been awhile.
  24. These files must be downloaded and then copied to that directory or one of your choice then called either by the mame.ini file or the command-line.
