  1. Well at least you admitted it! That's step 5! Tempest is skipping steps!
  2. Works on my end. Only time I do see that error is when my joystick is not plugged in. So maybe your joystick is not recognized by the emulator. I personally use Mednafen for Atari Lynx emulation.
  3. {F2} unless you changed it!
  4. Well if they're images then you just need to mount them. No need for a link to the file. Unless you're mixing links with images then that's where you will have to use a batch file or a script to handle them as they'll require different settings for launching.
  5. Are you using switches in your command-line or do you set your settings in the mame.ini file? Which ever you use, post the contents of either so we can find your problem. Looks like it's a video setting that needs to be tweaked.
  6. Hi Belinda! So you're trying to mount a file with a *.lnk extension? Daemon tools won't mount it since it's not an image. It's simply a link to your executable. Can't you just run using the link or does your game need to be mounted? If it needs to be mounted then you need to use it's usual extension instead of a link. So if you're just running a link then your command-line would be: "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"
  7. According to GameEx it looks like the acceptable extensions are *.exe and *.bat. So maybe it's not being executed because you use *.cmd as your extension. I could be wrong however. But worth a try. Rename your scripts to have one of those extensions and try again.
  8. Congrats GreatFlash!
  9. Dang! Look what I started. LOL. And all cuz of a back slash instead of a forward slash. Sorry Brian!
  10. Take a snap shot of your screen so we can see exactly what's going on.
  11. Looks like yes and yes!
  12. Can you post your emulator config please? Also maybe post the contents of the crash dialog.
  13. Happy 4th Birthday! Congrats on a great piece of software Tom! We appreciate all you do.
  14. Nice Tom! Great way to advertise.
  15. If it's exactly how he typed it then it's incorrect. You're saying it's: Project64.exe "[ROMPATH]/[ROMFILE]" Should be: Project64.exe "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" For giggles try: Project64.exe [ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE] If none of those work it's best if you post your config so we can take a look and also your run last game batch file so we can see what's going on in the command-line.
  16. No problem! We were all noobs at one time. Welcome to the forums!
  17. This is a global setting which will write the settings to the default.cfg. Now if you change these settings for an individual game then it would write it to the rom.cfg, rom being the name of your rom. So should only need to do this once unless you want a specific game to have a different setup.
  18. Do this while a game is loaded. Won't work just doing it in MAME32. So load a game and when the game loads then press {TAB}. Yes you'll be able to map the keys for insert coin as well. You can map everything in this setting.
  19. This will work for mame32 (Now known as MAMEUI32) as well. You must have remapped {TAB} as well then. You might wanna check your default.cfg found in the cfg directory of your MAME install. Open it up and see what you have mapped to bring up the menu and then use that key instead unless you remember what it is. Or you'll have to delete the default.cfg and setup your controls from scratch.
  20. For MAME you wanna follow these steps: Press the {TAB} key to bring up the menu. Select Input (general). Select User Interface. Scroll down to UI Cancel and press {ENTER} and map the keys you want to exit MAME.
  21. Well I'm not sure if Brian changes his resolution in his wrapper as I haven't seen his new code. But you can change manually in the Options >> PowerVR >> Fullscreen >> The resolution you want. Or you can also do this in the nullDC.cfg file as well. But again that depends on if Brian makes this change in his wrapper.
  22. Best thing to do is copy one of the current ones already included with GameEx and set it to map the way you want. These files are located in the GameEx\CONFIG\EMULATORS directory of your GameEx install. Just copy one of the files and name it to something you want and then open the file and edit these settings: [GAMEPADEXIT] #MAP Gamepad controls to exit and make controls exit process MapGamePadExit=true #Flag the controls that exit a game by placing True next to each control. To not use the control as part of the combination use a 0 Left= Down= Right= Up= Button1= Button2= Button3= Button4= Button5= Button6= Button7= Button8= Button9= Button10= Button11= Button12= Add True next to the button(s) you want to map to exit the emulator and have GameEx use that config found in Emulator Setup.
  23. Just tried and no luck with the way you suggested. That is of course I did it the right way. I select Queue Mode, select some songs, then click Start Karaoke?
  24. Will check now. Log into IM if you can chriss.
  25. In that case you need to point to where it extracts instead of the actual zip file.
