Nothing special other than it does what your zip support does. It temp unzips and plays. Maybe the version of Karaoke for DX? I have version 3.0. I'm able to play them in WMP. Not really an issue as I use karaoke hosting software for KJ'ing karaoke but would be cool to implement if possible. Also sub directory support like you have for music would be cool. I have a big collection of karaoke (300,000 +) and have them in sections by label. Would really enhance the karaoke experience. Lots of stuff I could suggest for karaoke but not sure how much you wanna put into it. LOL.
Project Tempest requires a wrapper. I know there's one posted somewhere around here. Just a matter of finding. If not I can do one up real quick depending on how much time I get this week.
We appreciate the help lalandev. I was just kidding hence the LOL, wink, and sticking out of the tongue. We here are well aware of things not running smoothly. Takes plenty of tweaking. So sorry if you took it wrong.
I don't have this setup, but the way your launch before line looks is incorrect. Do it as follows: "C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools Pro\DTProAgent.exe -mount scsi, 0" "[RomPath]\[RomFile]"
No problem. I hope it's the solution cuz since no one actually did tell you if they were able to test Mr. Driller and verify that it would accept coins, I thought I'd verify for you. And after some tweaking.... Whooohoooo! Fixed it! So let me know in the forum or hit me up in IM to let me know.
Not necessarily. They may play in WMP but I think Tom has to add the extension in GameEx. I could be wrong. The plugin also plays MP3+G Zipped. I've requested Tom adding the zip extension as well but maybe he'll jump in and read this to verify how things work. I never heard anything when I mentioned it before. Tom does get busy and hard for him to see everything. I recommend posting in the features topic where he's guaranteed to see it.
I just tested for you and I am able to add coins to Mr. Driller. I wasn't able to at first but I tried different things and this is what I came up with. Download a copy of the Winterblast Input Plugin from here and replace your current controller.znc and controller.cfg files. Then give it a go.
Have a look here. Things also depend on the specs of your hardware. But at least something to start you off till someone who's actually tried them comes along and puts in their 2 cents.
Not yet. I will submit the link this weekend to it. Weekends are bad for me as I have my daughter on the weekends and am not by my usual computer to send.
No problem! Glad to see ya take the interest in learning to do it. Best way is to set it up is the way Belinda suggested. Thanks for jumping in Belinda!
I haven't heard anything chriss! You might wanna start thinking of another approach temporarily till it gets fixed. I'm still able to play using WMP so you might wanna give it a try. If not, then there's plenty of decent freeware apps out there. Not sure of any of them as I use a commercial one.
You'll receive it shortly. Tom is pretty quick about sending them out. I received mine the same day. Do keep in mind that Tom may have a different Time Zone as you so just have to be patient.
I just hide the OS completely. Works for both XP and Vista! Set background to black while loading ROM and also hide the task bar in case not already hidden by GameEx. Just makes things clean. No sign of the OS except for maybe the mouse cuz of the way this emulator handles trapping the mouse on top of the screen if moved. But only way do to fix that is to use the same approach as nomousey and use a transparent cursor. I may do that as well since can be used globally on all emulators if not using Tom's Instant Sheller. And new process watcher called Emu_Janitor which still watches the process and set's desktop settings back to normal in the event that the wrapper is forced to close.
