  1. Click Start Select Run Type cmd and press {Enter} or OK Type CD "C:\Emulators\Mame32" and press {Enter} Type Mame32.exe pacman -rompath "C:\Emulators\Mame32\roms" and press {Enter} It should give you some type of error and let you know what's going on or what's not right.
  2. I'm hoping it might be that easy. But I'm not so sure cuz for some reason the PID is not being recognized correctly or why else would GameEx take back focus? So the script might have to be a little more complicated than that. Also he is passing parameters in the command-line so it will need some tweaking. All we can do is point things out and help you with the script but again it's hard to know exactly what's wrong with it since we don't have it installed in our setup. So we'll take it a step at a time and see what we can come up with.
  3. LOL. I hear that! But that's for guys like us! But you forget about all those other people who don't know much about emulation and need it as simple is it can get.
  4. I'm soooo proud! Look at him go! LOL. If you need help then let me know! Again I'm an AutoIt scripter but it's not too hard to translate between the two languages. I'm pretty impressed with how much interest you've taken on in learning to do some of this stuff. Keep it up Tempest!
  5. Bummer! Well if that's the case I would strictly use the Logitech Profiler for all your modifications so that you can keep your set up slimmed down as much as possible.
  6. Seems like it's trying to load and then closes out. Best would maybe be to run from the command-line itself to see the error?
  7. Yeah! I was also thinking about the neogeo changes in mame recently but when he said he used Winkawaks then that shouldn't have mattered. My Winkawaks works fine. The only other thing is that a setting might have been changed during the update.
  8. SNES B = 4 A = 5 Y = 1 X = 2 L = 3 R = 6
  9. This really comes down to personal preference. It's all a matter of what's comfortable to you. I myself tried different configurations and couldn't get the feel that I was looking for. Playing consoles/handhelds on an arcade setup just didn't feel right so I purchased a couple of game pads to achieve what I was after.
  10. What are your results when running runitgame.bat? Any errors?
  11. Welcome to the forums petecon! Take a look here and read that topic and then come back and post the suggested information so that we may help you better.
  12. Thanks for another update Tom! Also thanks to those mentioned who were involved with the project.
  13. Sorry kenclops! Don't have Bioshock so hard to tell what's going on exactly. Seems like Bioshock takes focus and then gives back focus to GameEx and then takes it back again. So GameEx doesn't know how to handle the exit of it. Might need an advanced config to handle it or even a wrapper to handle it.
  14. Hmmmmm. My gamepads work just fine without using the Logitech Profiler Application. I'm using them on this machine as we speak for all my emulation needs. Not sure if the Rumblepads require it or not but my dual action gamepads work just fine without it.
  15. LOL. Well glad you were polite. She probably would have went off on you if you weren't. At that age! Yup should be around or at least close to the computer today. IM me later and if I'm not around then I'll get back to you when I get in.
  16. I use the emulator to map my buttons as much as I can. If it's not supported in the emulator I then turn to XPadder. I gave Pinnacle a try after the recommendation by Krackerman and it's pretty much the same as the Logitech Profiler which is what I use on one of my Gaming PC's. So again it's a matter of preference. I try to keep my setups simple when it comes to emulation.
  17. So did ya get it worked out? Also my daughter said you IM'ed me last night! What else you need help with?
  18. LOL. Well as long as you searched! I don't know how I did but it was one of the first sites I came up with.
  19. Here's what I have for my Logitech Dual Action Gamepads bkenobi! It's really a matter a preference. I chose this layout to kind of mirror the SNES. So I used SFII to compare buttons when mapping so that they are the same for both systems. Emulator Buttons = Logitech Buttons A = 2 Button B = 3 Button C = 5 Button Start = 10 Button Mode = 9 Button X = 1 Button Y = 4 Button Z = 6 Button
  20. Google is your friend! I came to this site when looking for the SDL Keys needed to map in this emulator.
  21. So you had WinKawaks setup as an emulator to run your NeoGeo games and it doesn't run?
  22. Can you guys be a little more specific? Maybe post some configs? I just tried running Neo-Geo roms in GameEx and all is fine in this end. Is it certain games? All games? More info please!
  23. Everything looks good on this end. Only thing is that it might be the way you set up ZSNES graphics. So try changing this setting for now. Currently you have: ShowDesktop=False Change to: ShowDesktop=True
  24. Same answer! You just went more into detail. I don't think it's only your connection that is slow. LOL.
  25. Well depending on your theme it may have a different name. Try browsing the MEDIA\LOGOS folder in the theme folder your using and look for the name of the nes image if there is one.
