  1. ok all fixed survived another update.....had to update a few ultra dmd dll's. everything is back to normal on 2.66
  2. yep that's the first time that setting has ever changed. im still troubleshooting it i've reinstalled ultradmd and replaced the dll's and still nothing.
  3. im working on it......did this update touch the xdmd.dll's
  4. yes that was it, 2.66 turned color settings off. Ultradmd is now broken though none of my games that use ultradmd, dmd doesn't display.
  5. 2 things right off the bat.... it screwed up my dmd, the attract videos all show in red on my dmd exiting a table is super slow, i went back th 2.65 and dmd is still red
  6. ah he said he attached 2.65
  7. your video config may be hosed, try unplugging the dmd monitor and see if the the backglass diverts to the 2nd screen. Another method is to unplug all, then plug in your playfield, the boot. Then shutdown, plug in your backglass then reboot, then finally do the same with the dmd. lastly try this. https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/736116-windows-display-properties-identify-numbers-are
  8. are you using the online version of fx3? are you using the built in boot to PBX from the setting menu? Give a brief description of your sytem setup (2/3 screen setup, feedback, addressable leds) Are you using any 3rd party add-ons (dmdext, doflinx, PUplayer) Define which emulator you are having issues with (VPX, Future Pinball, FX3) Is the issue table specific or an issue for all tables? If so please state the table name. Does this issue occur only when launching the game via PBX? Attach your Pinball X xml, ini, and log files, DO NOT COPY THE CONTENTS INTO YOUR QUESTION, attach the actual files.
  9. @Tom Speirs I've already been on 2.65 for some time now no issues, is this a new revision?
  10. ill take it for a spin
  11. attach the one for visual pinball will suffice. unless you didnt change this back after testing. you have the dmd and backglass set to monitor 1 [BackGlass] monitor=1 x=0 y=- width=1920 height=720 AutoPositionB2S=True UseB2S=False [DMD] Enabled=True monitor=1 x=500 y=1150 width=900 height=300 AutoPositionPinMAME=True [FileSystem]
  12. are you using b2s or static images from the images folder?
  13. so you have a 3 screen setup? does everything show up correctly after you launch a table? what does your graphics display setup look like, and what numbers show up when you click on identify? xml's are found in the database folder.
  14. only key that brings that up is the windows key, try mapping your escape to another key in the settings manager and see if it still brings up the taskbar.
  15. whats showing up, is the screen black, also post your xml file. and are these vpx videos?
  16. can you post a screen shot of what your seeing. not sure what menu your referring to that is overlaid over the table. also let me know if you alt-tab to the playfield if you get the controls to work. does this happen with all tables or just one?
  17. does it do it for all tables when you launch pbx, or is the same table showing up every time you launch pbx. try loading a different table, then exiting pbx, restart and see if still wont load you backglass
  18. do you get a clean exit, outside of PBX, since you are you using the VPX beta.
  19. are you naming the tables and b2s files the same, in some instances the tables and b2s have to be the same name as the rom. do you mean BG is not showing up during table selection or gameplay, does the backglass show up outside of PBX?
  20. Refer to the FAQ section, if you cannot find your solution there and would like assistance from the super-users of the forum, please provide the following information along with the initial question. Give a brief description of you sytem setup (2/3 screen setup, feedback, addressable leds) Are you using any 3rd party add-ons (dmdext, doflinx, PUplayer) Define which emulator you are having issues with (VPX, Future Pinball, FX3) Is the issue table specific or an issue for all tables? If so please state the table name. Does this issue occur only when launching the game via PBX? What Version of PBX are you on? Attach your Pinballx.ini and log.txt files, DO NOT COPY THE CONTENTS INTO YOUR QUESTION, attach the actual files. Vague questions are harder to find solutions for and take longer as we have to ask you for the above in the thread. Help us help you by telling us about your setup in detail.

  21. in your game manager, do you have hide dmd of hide topper checked for the games? if so uncheck those and see what happens.
  22. In his case this fixed the issue for a particalar table he was having an issue with. If you open the table, there is a script button on left hand side, thats where he put the code.
  23. not sure thats a pbx issue, i've never seen a window that says an emulator has ended
  24. has to be one or the other, you can have a video or a static image continue to show during game play, for example the same video that plays during table selection can play during fx2 or fx3. For videos fx3 has to be set to borderless window it cannot be fullscreen or the video/backglass video freezes. image folders override video folders in the media library.
