  1. @gthax posted one here PBFX3 xml. Midpage
  2. Did you try it with the setting at top here. Your doing something different in your startup.
  3. Are you running offline or online mode?
  4. @Ginsonic has the magic machine I guess. Can you post your setting for PBFX3 in the settings tool, maybe we are missing something. The issue is consistent and happens at the same time, loading, then as soon as PBFX starts the video freezes, then exit, it unfreezes. Was there only one version of pbfx3 released or has there been patches after the fact?
  5. Hello, Anybody encounter pbfx3 going back to main menu at table select on selection of first table at bootup. Once table is selected the screen rotates then asks to press enter, then automatically rotates back to cabinet mode and then boots to main menu instead of the table. When i navigate to the games screen and exit, then select same table again, it boots in cabinet mode right to the table. If i shut my PC down and reboot to the same table, it goes to the main menu again. It doesnt hold the state like PBFX2 does.
  6. Anbody else have this issue with the videos freezing.
  7. can you run the Visual pinball tables outside of VPX and show up on the correct screens?
  8. Post screen shots of your screen config in PBX and your display config on your PC. Yeah your registry is hosed, try this.....I had the same problem, drove me nuts Your unplugging them from your video card correct? Also are your screens in the wrong place in PBX or after you select a table? You can try this too. HOW TO FORCE WINDOWS TO REDISCOVER MONITORSWhenever Windows sees a new monitor it adds it to the end of the current configuration. However, this doesn't change the current configuration. To force Windows to configure monitors properly if the numbers aren't correct, you need to delete these two registry keys, and then add the monitors one at a time.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Systems\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\ConfigurationHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Systems\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\Connectivity
  9. That's the default image for when you don't have a backglass image in your backglass images folder. Check to see if you have a BG image for the tables you see this image on, if so make sure the names match up with your description in your database files. Or you can change the background to whatever you like by going to: \PinballX\Media\Images and rename the new file No Back Glass and replace the other file. Or just delete the No backglass file if you want a black screen... When you upgrade it puts all of these files back in, i have to remove a few myself.
  10. i also use a script that starts dmdext and doflinx, i disabled it and it still freezes with a direct load to pbfx3. PBFX2 videos run just fine, i copied them over to pbx3 folders, so same videos just a weird freeze in pbfx3.
  11. something in pbfx3 is freezing the video, i also have the pbfx3 fireball on my 3rd screen and it freezes that too, right before the opening screen on pbfx3, when i exit the table bacl to pbx, the videos start back up.
  12. .70 lavs. my computer no likey, all videos disappaeared.
  13. whats your wait time in your pbs games manger for pbfx3
  14. What is this? The (in)famous 4GB patch on PinballX.exe (it really has a noticable influence on multimedia performance for me)
  15. Used to and its a PITA to get the configuration correct. The registry gets confused on what needs to go where. So, try unplugging all monitors plug them in one at a time. So boot up with playfield plugged in, then configure that in PBX and whatever emulator your using. Then shut down, plug in the 2nd, configure, then shut down and do the same with the 3rd. There is a registry where you can hard code these but i cant remember where. In my setup the numbers don't match up either, my playfield is 2. So in your display settings go an look at what the PC assigns each monitor after setup, and move those around until it resembles your cabinet setup.
  16. no worries, i just created a new profile, you can delete rablack98. I got the lifetime after the fact. GTG now.
  17. This isnt a PBX issue, they changed something in PBX3, i can get a picture to show as a backglass, with the backglass enabled, i also saw that it has gif support, i even tried a gif and it still froze the .GIF. I also disabled doflinx and the dmdext as those have to load prior to table launch, and the video from pbx froze. From what i can tell, it only supports still images. Not sure if anyone knew this but if you add a .jpg file named PinballFX3 to Steam>steamapps>common>pinball>fx3>data>steam folder you will get a backlass image during your table selection.
  18. I have, and it still doesnt work.
  19. did you reboot, what emulators are you having issues with vpx, vp9 FP, etc.
  20. heres one that's a little smoother /-PinballX-/Other Uploads/rablack97
  21. Anybody get the animated backglasses to work in PBFX3, they worked in FX2, but now they all freeze up right before the game start, it also freezes up the 3rd screen video as well.
  22. Trying to download the new version of pbx and started 3 download by accident.
  23. If you have PBFX2 running prior to upgrading doflinx you shouldn't have to change you parameters in pbx. Dof config files go in your c:\directoutput\config folder. Also, turn on debug and post your doflinx log data.
  24. Sure not a problem....I'll refrain and let Terry create one and i'll add to that.
  25. no luck, mx effects and DOF effect not working. flippers have feedback and thats it. and the ball is a baseball instead of a chrome ball.
