  1. sure thing Tom will check this w/i the hour and provide feedback.
  2. new exe hack enabled, custom system type every last table i tried worked, not sure what that type does but it fixes the problem. log.txt
  3. hack disabled no backglasses testing hack enabled , with new exe , system type Custom now log.txt
  4. new exe hack enabled No good backglasses not showing up testing without hack now log.txt
  5. With or without the hack enabled.
  6. nope, disabled the hack, put type back to VP, problem tables not showing backglass. Not sure if it matters, but my vpx tables are under other system which does not have that hack option.
  7. i do have exclusive full screen enabled, had been working with about 85%-90% b2s backglasses. log.txt PinballX.ini
  8. Hello @Tom Speirs, So there is no way to modify the game manager to where you can pick which media files you want to download, hit import once and then have it go through the select function for each piece of media. Doing it one at a time is so time consuming.
  9. I'm running an i5, gtx 960 video card, 16 gb of ram definately not low end 250gb ssd drive. I agree this one will be hard to pinpoint as it could be file based, i've used one version of a backglass and nothing, then use a different download and then it works. On demolition man, had to uncheck hide backglass in the game manager before it appeared. I'm willing to test and help you solve this Tom, let us know what you need as this one part adds hours to configuration of one table when it should take about 15- 20 mins total to get a table going.
  10. I wonder if that's why all of yours works. The trigger for me is the system type under other systems, if this is custom all is well, if switched to visual pinball the back-glasses won't show up for certain games. I added Diablo, Taxi, and Nascar today, all of them consistently showed up if the system type was custom, if i switched it to VP they all came up with a black screen.
  11. ok cool now that we've hugged it out......let's see if we can fix this problem. I have same problem as @kds70 Taxi and Nascar will not show up in VP mode with the new .exe Tom posted for me either. They only show up in custom mode. Question for @vogliadicane are you putting all VP tables under visual pinball and using the altexe in the xml. I have my VPX under custom so i wouldnt have to update the xml for alternate vp9 exe's. Also for anyone using the backglass and playfield recorder, you have to put the setting back to VP mode in order for it to find your XML.
  12. new exe did not work for me on southpark, only thing that works is changing the system type to custom.
  13. Thanks Tom, I will try this out later this evening. This helps a ton, sometimes it would take hours to tweak a table due to this issue, if this fixes it, this will save a ton of time.
  14. thats the craziest thing i've ever seen, i went back and looked at the settings changed system type to custom instead of visual pinball and now it works.....very weird.
  15. Well my vpx tables are under custom and it still doesnt work, i have vp9 tables under the standard visual pinball, and vpx tables under the custom system.
  16. i thought exclusive full screen was needed for cabinet mode, and this is problematic for certain tables not all i would hate to change one setting and have it affect others.
  17. On my issue vpx work fine, the issue is when launching in pbx the backglass does not show for southpark. I'm not sure what pbx needs to make this work consistently but some tables need the b2s file name changed to rom name, while others are just good with matching file name to table name. I am not displaying b2s in pbx as it shows the speaker grills regardless of how it's set at the table, assuming it uses default b2s settings in pbx.
  18. yeah i even downloaded the table/backglass version from the PBX database and that one does the same thing. It's very odd.
  19. it will load fine in vpx, backglass will be black in PBX once the game loads.
  20. Yes the idea is to help the community, not punish the community due to a personal issue. The one person may not have the answer as this is a lingering issue with PBX. I have the same issue with Southpark. I would also like to hear your solution as a fellow hobbyist in need of an answer just like you were. If you found the solution help out the mass and dont worry about the one person that didnt answer you.
  21. Yep shows up fine in VPX, i've read other threads on this happening. I use static images instead of b2s for browsing as i dont like the speaker grills. Dirty Harry and Demolition man gave me fits, and each had its own odd way to fix it. On Demolition man you have to uncheck hide backglass in game manager, which i've never had to do for any other back glass. Every backglass/table combination i've tried works perfectly in VPX, but backglass will not show up in PBX for this, the table runs fine.
  22. Anybody ever had an issue with Southpark vpx backglass not showing in PBX? This is what i've tried. Table named the same as db2s Db2s named as the rom hide backglass unchecked in game manager tried different downloads of the table and the backglass All with the same results, any ideas?
  23. Im having this same issue with southpark vpx, the db2s will not show in VPX.
  24. is there simpler way to add tables vs doing them one at time through the GUI?
