  1. Try going to Steam\config loginusers.vdf open the file using text editor. look for your profile and change "wantsofflinemode" to 1 and "skipofflinemodewarning" to 1 make the file read only in the properties of the file so future updates won't override it.
  2. you should be able to resize it in the dmdext.ini, i use pin2dmd though, it's been awhile since i've used the virtual, i thought there was another program out there to where you could re-size the dmd right on the screen. I may be wrong, when i was using the virtual, i would right click on it, and it would allow me to move and resize it to fit the backglass i was playing. did you do this as well Visual PinMAME VPM recently introduced the possibility of delegating DMD rendering to an external DLL. The main motivation is being able to ship a single build instead of having to release multiple binaries for multiple DMDs. You can enable this by copying the included DmdDevice.dll to the location of VPinMAME.dll. In VPM you then need to enable Use External DMD and then rendering should go through dmdext. If you are a PC monitor user or have a RGB display (PinDMDv3 or PIN2DMD), the advantage of dmdext is that Lucky1's coloring features are fully supported. Configuration Since DmdDevice.dll is called by VPM, we can't pass any configuration parameters to it. Instead, we use DmdDevice.ini which must be located in the same folder as VPinMAME.dll. The options are described by block below.
  3. First did you upgrade your dmdext to the latest which gives dmdext fx3 compatability. I found that putting dmdext in c: drive helps too. Here's my AhK script, you might try this instead of the the .bat or use the -q,, Hide parameters. Also might try giving it a destination, the other options are on the github site. dmdext_Path=c:\dmdext Run, %dmdext_Path%\dmdext.exe mirror --source=pinballfx3 --destination=pin2dmd --no-virtual -q,, Hide Makes sure both of these are yes in your pbfx3 setting in pbx for the launchbefore. Another issue may be the process is not closing down and multiple instances are remaining open... I run this script in the launch after to make sure its being closed out, the -q command didn't always work. Process, Close, dmdext.exe sleep, 1000 Process, Close, dmdext.exe exitapp
  4. no you don't i ran cab support using the one free table in pbfx2. There is a away to go to offline mode and get rid of the notification. I just set it up the other day. I guess you mean the desktop version. I guess you have your reasoning based on you're software setup, maybe @Tom Speirs will extend that grid for you. However, you have been warned, if they Zen Studidos update and do something weird with that grid layout, your'e hosed.
  5. I guess everyone is wondering why you're choosing the hard route to get the same result. You can request the code within PBFX3 for free, and alleviate your problem. Folks are trying to save you a headache down the line, if PBFX3 chages their grid structure, your method will be broken while everyone elses still works. The answer to your question is just go get the code, and map it as the cab support tutorial recommends. You can even see the reluctance of this method in the non cab support tutorial, as a you can if you want, but why. Plus the cab support method is much cleaner, it goes directly to the table from the PBX table selection, instead of the mechanical looking method in your video.
  6. during table selection or gameplay?
  7. My apologies @vogliadicane there are 2 sets of these and I wasn't sure who did what. Do you have plans to convert these to PBFX3, if you still have the templates? If not I've started the process for my own cab. Per @Carny_Priest I will not release to public unless I have you're permission for you're sets and @Namsan permission for his sets. I think your's were static images with blinking lights and his used animated scenes.
  8. Can you be more specific about what's choppy pbx itself, or the table being execute via pbx.
  9. This might be your issue here.
  10. 18 sec smoother version is on FTP
  11. I could not get any feedback for permissions, and my request that was on the french site was somehow deleted from the site. So the mods will have to stay personal and unreleased. Ok folks, figure out a way to mod the PBFX2 backglass with the new fireball. I did not create these, these were done by @Namsan. All I'm doing is adding the new fireball. Some may not be feasible based on placement of the PBFX2 fireball. This one turned out nice though. Do we have to get creators permission to mod these files, or can i move forward?
  12. did you also enable the b2s to true. Yeah, and it drove be crazy, but my issue was the actual PC swapping the screens. If i exited out, my desktop would be on a different screen altogether, also if i had a hard crash the screens would get out of whack. I would have to unplug all screen and plug then back in the order i wanted them recognized. In your case your playfied is fine. Are you trying different table or just the dirty harry? Have you tried disabling the dmd and rebooting with just your backglass multiple times. If it sticks then there's something up with your DMD settings or try a different dmd video.
  13. what version of pbx are you using, the latest? also for your backglass did you try the standard res for a 720 p TV. 1280 x 720 That seems like a weird res. width=1360 height=768
  14. Hello All, I spent some time cleaning up the FX3 xml as some of the games had name changes....This xml works for all 68 games that pbfx has released up to date. Pinball FX3.xml
  15. what folder are you placing the videos into? Also post your pinball x ini file and your pinballx log file.
  16. Here are the animated logo files for all of the current games, drop these in the DMD Video folder and you will have the PBFX3 animated logo along with your backglass during table select and gameplay. /-PinballX-/Media/Pinball FX3/DMD Videos
  17. borderless window in fx3 fixed it for me.....i don't see any difference in cabinet mode....must be a conflict in fullscreen mode somewhere.
  18. Worked like a charm, problem solved TY Sir.
  19. How did you get that stupid steam offline popup to stop...when you reboot the popup comes up when you put it back to offline mode
  20. Ty sir i will do the same.
  21. To give you an idea of i feel your pain, look at my whacked out numbering....2 is playfield, 3 is back glass, 1 is third video screen. Yet in PBX setup.....Display 1 is playfield, Display 2 is backglass, Display 3 is 3rd video screen. My cab is on another PC so this is makeshift graphics.
  22. i have real dmd, so i only have 2 settings 1920 1080 1920 1080 2 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 My autoposition direct2 b2s is set to to yes though....
