  1. Hi all, I upgraded to VPX 10.7.2 to take advantage of a new table from VPinWorkshop and, for some reason, using the Escape key to exit back to PBX no longer works. I have both escapes in PBX set to Escape and the Quit in VPX is set to Q. The "Disable Esc in VPX" box is ticked. I went back to 10.7 and the escape works fine. I can't figure out what the issue is. Attached are the log and init. I am assuming this is an issue with VPX and not PBX? PinballX.ini log.txt
  2. Hey Tom, The issue only seems to be with certain tables when Exclusive Full Screen is enabled in VPX. Everything else works fine and loads quick.
  3. Disabling the Exclusive Full Screen mode (in VPX) makes my PROC tables work fine. Evil Dead loads the table right away.
  4. I appreciate you suggesting the solution early. I love PBX and have used it for years. It's my favorite frontend for my pinball/arcade set-up. Thank you for all your hard work, Tom.
  5. @Tom Speirs Nevermind. I'm a dope. VPX was in "Force Exclusive Full Screen" mode. I took it out and the playfield pops right up now. Thanks.
  6. Weird issue on a handful of VPX tables: Ghostbusters, Wizard of Oz, Endless Summer, Guardians of the Galaxy (2.0), Deadpool, and the recent Big Trouble in Little China all have backglass which pops up right away...but the actual table takes about half a minute before it finally appears on the playfield monitor. Otherwise, it remains dark until that happens. This issue only occurs when I boot these tables through PBX. It's non-existent on VPX itself. I am guessing it's because they use a lot of high-rez graphics and they're memory-heavy and PBX is having an issue with them but I'm not quite sure that's the case. Has anyone else had this issue?
  7. That worked! Checking each vid that doesn't work, the constant is that they're smaller than 1080p. So, I'm guessing the solution is to make sure each vid is at 1920x1080. EDIT: Just audited all my vids and upscaled all the smaller ones to 1080p. Every single one I upscaled works perfectly. Problem solved. Thanks, Scuttle! It's funny because I was thinking conversion was gonna come into the picture sooner or later but it never occurred to me that making them exactly 1080p was going to solve it.
  8. I will try this when I get home. Thanks, Scutters.
  9. I'll see if that's the issue. I might have to go back a couple versions. Before that, I'm gonna try re-scaling the vid.
  10. Hey @Draco1962...here are the files you requested. Hope this helps... PinballX.ini log.txt
  11. Codecs installed. Same issue.
  12. Hey Draco...I'll upload everything when I get home. Thanks!
  13. Yeah, they all worked before this. I don't recall making any sort of software or config changes. When I get home, I will load the filters you speak of and let you know what's going on. Thanks for the suggestion!
  14. Something that should probably have a relatively simple answer...half of my loading videos now look like the attached picture. The other half look normal. This just started happening out of the blue. I upgraded to the newest PBX and it didn't fix the issue. Also re-downloaded the original loading videos and that didn't fix it either. I don't really care if I have loading vids, but it's just weird that this happens.
  15. Ok...success! Here's what I have for my Backglass vids screen: X - 1920 Y - 0 Width - 1920 Height - 1080 Backglass covers the entire monitor. Launching the game is good, too. Looks like I'm set. Thanks, @scutters!
  16. @scutters- The offset seems to have worked -- except that the backglass video doesn't completely fit the entire screen. There's a long, black strip at the bottom of each backglass now.
  17. Yeah, it's a bit frustrating. The only reason I started this 2-monitor cabinet project was because I was able to activate the other GPU. I was attempting to use the other ports on the GTX 970 but they just don't work. :-/ I've heard there have been issues with that card but I have never been able to get it to work.
  18. I would do this except, for some reason, my GTX 970 only outputs video via the HDMI port. The Mini Display Port on the card won't output any sort of video no matter what I do, which is why I went to my onboard GPU instead.
  19. What settings would you recommend for the offset?
  20. Hey Draco...yeah...I took my makeshift set-up down for the night...I'll be back in a few hours to start all over again. To your point, tho: I've done that before and have had zero problems. Display 2 has ALWAYS been my motherboard HDMI. Display 1 has been two different monitors. There's really nothing I can do about this. Short of just outright using my 42" to edit things, I use my two smaller monitors for set-up while I use the 42" to play. I've restarted the CPU altogether to combat this to no avail. This was the first night I have lost video backglass.
  21. Coming right up...also, just noticed that the backglass video is on the same screen as the playfield -- but it's only noticeable after I quit, and the backglass is underneath the playfield window. Also, swapping monitors (in the Wizard) places the windows on the correct monitors...but that's not what I'm trying to do since one is significantly larger than the other and place the backglass on a 42" screen with a 22" playfield would look ridiculous. log.txt
  22. I wasn't using anything before and the video files ran fine. I'm not sure I understand the sudden need for a codec if I'm just switching out monitors. Shouldn't it work from display to display?
