When I run it like this I get the same thing. Window pops up saying steam client isn't running. Windows 10 Pro build 1703 PBX 2.38 I've been on Windows 7 and now Windows 10 I've never had that error so I don't know what that is I'm assuming you've tried Google and as far as, Steam updates they usually take like five minutes or so as something the error you are getting problem

In the settings in FX2 I changed display mode to borderless window then it does the screen grab for the table -
I don't know about Windows 8 but In Windows 10 you can right click the image and rotate them I was trying the screen table grab, it's grabbing the images behind the game not the game in fx2 - but it works for visual pinball

I've never had this until this week and I have changed nothing so I wonder if it's a Windows update

is there a way so that the camera view can stay locked to the one that you choose ??? That I do not know I have a 3 screen cabinet and I use both straight in and nukelauncher, that way when people come over you can pick multiple players

Another thing they say it is better to have visual pinball installed on the root of the C drive instead of C:\Program Files (x86) because sometimes it can cause problems...

What's Happening Here is VP is losing focus in pinballX... If that Don't work try this... Take this file vpauto.exe and move it out of the pinballx folder and then try running pinballx and see if the game works

I run windows 7 and 10 and I do not use compatibility mode for anything and I only run as administrator if I have to.. for pinballx I do not run as administrator If you are running as administrator for pinballx try turning it off and you aren't try turning it on and do the same with VP

Are you running compatibility mode on anything? Try this one's when it freezes up take your mouse and click the top of this Playing field and see if it resumed

When it freezes up if you do alt-tab does it show any kind of error
