  1. No way! Do you have any tips?
  2. 270,910 for now, but I'll keep trying. I really wanna break 300k. Anyone else think the 2nd bonus round is waaaay easier than the 1st?
  3. 86,580 is good enough for me.
  4. So far I've got 34,850. I'm not understanding the decoys. Sometimes I have 4 of them, use 2, die, and then I have zero. Which really blows since you need them for those vortex levels.
  5. I'm digging the bonus games. It's nice having 3 games with radically different play-styles for the month. I have no score worth posting yet, but I'll get on it!
  6. I don't know if its feasible, but some sort of Folder System (Think MAMEUI) would be really helpful. An example I would personally use (and do use in MAMEUI) is sorting games by 2-player. You simply right-click a game, and add it to your predefined folder/.ini file. I also do this with newly discovered games. The upcoming rating system might be able to be expanded to a tagging system where different roms have customizable tags, and roms with common tags can be grouped and displayed together. I believe GameEx has a rudimentary way of doing this already (At some point I ran into a "Display all Multiplayer Games" option), but it was extremely incomplete. Currently, in order to achieve this in GameEx, I've been making map-files of the games I want organized, creating separate emulator instances that use the map-files, and then grouping all of these emulators under one emulator group. It's a long process, and updating the map files when I find new games is pretty tedious. Edit: Also, if this is not remotely possible, is there a way I and other users can update the GameEx Multiplayer Games list (along with the others) in order to make it more complete?
  7. Done. Though it looks like it's been beat a couple of times.
  8. Scrolling shooters* Either way, I've just never found them especially fun. There are a lot of exceptions, but the 194X series isn't one of them.
  9. This is more like it! I didn't even have this game in my narrowed down MAME selection, but I've been missing out. Nice suggestion Helpman! I got 285,190 so far.
  10. The spider and the scorpion are the worst enemies in any video game ever (maybe along with that double squiggly line from Tempest). 31,376
  11. Well that's enough of that game, at least I'm on the board. 43,000
  12. Side-scrolling ship-shooters have never been my cup of tea, but I want to at least get myself on the board. Soooo many 19xx games to catch up on. 169,700
  13. At first I thought you were being a bit harsh, but I'm finding myself getting more and more bored with each play. It doesn't have that edge like Outrun, Space Harrier, Afterburner, and Chase HQ. I wish the jumping wasn't so limited; it's easily the funnest part of the game. Anyway, I got 16,799,410.
  14. Awesome, I will buy the full version once its implemented (it appears my year subscription expired).
  15. Last Post for the Day; Just stole 4th! 86,785
  16. Sooo close to level 3. I personally prefer Right Right. 5,451,480
  17. There's a bonus for NOT picking up the Metal Slug? Do you have to do it without losing a life? In all of the other games you get a bonus if you keep it until the end of the level. I'm not very familiar with the first Metal Slug (Love X and 3 though), so here's a comparatively low score. 168,600
  18. So many games to catch up on.... 26,580
  19. I played this all of the time in High School, sadly on difficulty 5 (such a big difference). 98,900; I almost always break 100k on difficulty 5, but this is the best I can do for now.
  20. 2,788,730 is the best I can do. I've still never seen this one at any arcade.
  21. I had overlooked this as a crappy pac-man clone, but it's much better. My first time playing, but at least I'm on the board. 19,820
  22. I just eat a lot of ants and eat a lot of score-multiplying blue caterpillars. I also camp down by the screen-wiping insects at the bottom of the screen until the 4 white ants and a caterpillar are on screen.
  23. Bummer, I won't be beating that score any time soon. Guess 264,800 will have to do.
  24. I always use one credit; dunno why there were 5 credits pumped into Crystal Castles. Here's the correct screen shot.
  25. Love Anteater. 93,910
