ah, so retrobox looks like the only HD theme? I'm running gameex on my HDTV so that's really what i want

Not sure how to post my theme, but are there any themes that are just great, head and shoulders above the rest?

i'm running a pentium 4 1.5 ghz with 512 ram and i have no issues at all other than the odd stutter and audio issues playing nintendo 64.. (anyone know the requirements for it) everything else is silk

I would like to setup my consoles to have the list on the right side and on the left side a video snap, title screen and box art.. is it possible to do this, and if so how? thank you!!

I didn't see a forum on their site, so I hope this is OK to post here. I got a membership and access to the FTP but when i go on it all i see are a few emulator video folders.. i also cannot enter the arcade folders and handheld folders.. anyone have this problem, or is that how it's supposed to be? I'm using flash fxp thanks

i don't mind paying $10 but do they have movies for virtually every game on the nintendo and sega systems?

None of the nintendo consoles are clickable on emumovies.. what's the deal? do i have to donate?

you can accelerate the scrolling of titles with a gamepad? i'd like to know how cause it takes about 5 minutes go from top to bottom of a list without a keyboard

kinda having an issue... i have a bunch of old school nintendo commercials to run as my video screensavers, but WMP won't play the videos just audio (codec issues) so i set all my videos to open with VLC media player. Will gameex open up VLC to play them when the screensaver starts? right now when the screensaver comes up the screen just goes black.

I run the full libraries of these: MAME Nintendo (nestopia) Super Nintendo (zsnes) Sega Genesis (fusion) nintendo 64 (don't remember are systems like the Saturn, dreamcast or playstation 1 able to be emulated well? what do you guys think i should add to my emulation box?

i installed the vb6 runtimes but i still get the same error as above.

when i try to run the artwork rename i get an error: Component MSCOMCTL.OCX or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

About 30% of my games for nintendo, super nintendo and genesis come up blank.. Even super mario brothers 1, 2 & 3 all come up blank even though there are screen snaps in the folder for those games. I don't know how it associates the game to the snap but can i make it more accurate?

ok i can't figure out how to do it in AHK, joy2key or Xpadder. But xpadder seems the most user friendly so could you explain? it seems easy enough but i see no option to comine 2 keys or even make one key (say select on the controller) be bound to escape after holding it for 2 or 3 seconds.

on my first emulation system i have it setup with PS2 controllers and when playing a game you push and hold start+select to quit the game..i'm wanting to do the same on a new setup and i forgot if i can do this within gameex or i have to use joy2key?

you sir know exactly what you are talking about. my mistake the drivers weren't installed correct. everything is well now

Thanks Tom, i tried the old drivers on the FAQ but they didn't help at all.

This is my second gameex emulator computer. The first one is alive and well with no issues. The computer i have is a pentium 4, geforce 4 mx 440 with 512 mb of ram with a fresh windows xp pro install and all the updates, framework, and newest graphics drivers. When i get into gameex it slows to a crawl, i get about 5-10 FPS, one other thing noticed is that VirtuaNES also runs like a dog, but all my other emulators run fine. So i cant figure out what the issue is. The computer runs great and fast doing anything other than gameex or virtuanes.. anyone have ideas? i have played with the tweaks in the settings and none have helped so far.
