anyone?

i downloaded a few wav files to replace the introsound and focus sounds in a theme i'm modifying but they don't work in gameex, there is just no audio now. Do they have to be a certain bit rate or something? they are wav files so i know that's not the problem

I'm making a new theme cause i play my gameex on my HDTV with my computer hooked up to it with DVI to HDMI. Should I make the theme in 1080i resolution? that would be 1920x1080. gameex can run at any resolution you specify correct?

alright i'm going to scratch 3do off my list, anything else i should not waste my time on? jaguar seems pretty solid from what i've played so far

From what I've read it looks like there is only one emulator for 3do called freedo and it's not that good and has terrible audio.. i'm just debating hunting down all these games for 3do and if it's worth it or to skip this system in my new emulator machine.

i guess it was just the iso cause other games have in game music.. i will try to get the game from somewhere else.

which emulators don't have the option to do 4:3?... I use my setup on my HDTV and everything is perfect.. mame, nes, snes, genesis and n64 all go 4:3 with no issues.

well so far my 6800gt with 256 mb runs all playstation stuff awesome.. so i don't think i'll have to get a NEW card.. but i figured about AVGA.. probably sell it on ebay as i don't need it anymore.. my arcade monitor went bye bye.

ok there are no options under sound other than 'enable sound' do i have to install a certain plugin? i'm using 1.7.0

I have arcade vga cause i used to use a arcade monitor, and all the games like nintendo looked awesome.. i have that same system now hooked up to my HDTV via DVI-HDMI and it looks really good as well.. I'm just wondering if i make a new system should i use my 256 mb nvidia card or the Arcade VGA, because i don't think the AVGA has any benefit on a HDTV.

So i just tried out epsxe for the first time with twisted metal 2, and it runs great, looks great but there is no in game music. The file i got was an img file. How can i get the music to play in game as well?

you guys have any issues binding multiple buttons to exit a game?

I'm using wired ps2 controllers, but want to switch to wireless.. i tired a ps2 wireless in the past but had a few issues.. i might try again but i'm wondering if anyone uses wireless ps2 or xbox controllers hooked up to their pc?

i have a 256 mb geforce 6800, that should be ok for psx,dreamcast, saturn right? I just need to get a core 2 and some ram and i think i'll be fine.

i'm guessing ps2 has the highest requirements? what kind of computer specs do i need to run the games well or normal at like 30 fps which is about what they ran at.

yep i know what NOT to ask.. i did play playstation and ps2 a lot in my day but i missed out totally on sega cd and saturn so i am curious. I'm sure i'll have more questions down the road.

ok i've never ventured into sega cd/dreamcast/saturn/ps1/ps2 but i want to.. is the basic idea you load an iso file as the rom, but you have to have a bios file loaded into the emulator beforehand?

I'm using 2 generic ps2 controllers in gameex, and everything has been fine but all of a sudden the controllers are acting like i'm holding down on the joystick and going all the way to the bottom of the menu.. i've tried unplugging, rebooting etc... wondering if anyone has had this problem..

I downloaded a set of n64 video snaps as FLVs. My VLC media player plays them fine and i have it set to open with VLC, but i get nothing in gameex.

if your gameex theme is 800x600 it will be stretched if you want it to fit your whole HD tv screen. Otherwise it should be in a box more or less with black bars on the left and right side to preserve the aspect ratio. Most TVs have a WIDE/ZOOM button on the remote

I think this is because s-video is not hi def. You need to connect your laptop to your computer with a vga cable or if it has dvi or hdmi use that. Also your gameex theme should be set up to use a high definition resolution. For example 1080i is 1920x1080. I don't think any themes use this resolution so it will not fit the screen completely. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

I've never attempted to play or get any playstation, saturn or dreamcast emulators/roms.. but i'm curious as to how they work? once it's set up do they work just the same in gameex as all the other emulators? just select the game from a list? i know they are a bit harder to set up as far as games go but information online seems all over the place so i figured you guys would know best. Also what kind of machine should i be using if i want to run those games? from what i understand emulated games are mostly CPU intensive and don't rely much on your video card.
