Hey all, I got myself a Cyber Vapor Xtreme PC for Christmas. Ive got a nice Steam collection. I also registred my Game EX. I figured it would be nice to have Steam and my emulators launch from one place. But rather than trying to go thru the joy of something called Ice I figured i would use Game Ex cause Im kinda familar with it. Some things have changed since I last used it. So I figured Id try it with just Mame for now. Game Ex has been reading listinfo at 25% for the last two hours. Is this a Windows 10 issue? if so Ill wait for Evolution. Thanx

Which plugin? and where do I get it? I went to the emu homepage and got save downloads but no plugins

Well I tried this briefly when I got home. The fullscreen option is where it always has been, that hasn't changed. But what has changed is the controller mapping. While I like having a pic of the controller to make mapping easier for my XBOX360 controller. You can't use all the buttons on it, notably the Dpad. Hopefully this will be fixed in a future release.

Could you plz post what the command line should look like? Ima put this in my new setup aswell

Man I would have liked to seen the problem and how it was solved. As I am trying to set stuff up on my new machine, Demul is one of the last few I need to setup. If I remember correctly it's a tricky setup

Got it all compiled. GEEZ it has a lot to be desired better off using the mouse IMHO. Accuracy is poopballz.

I googled and found out the good ol Mame compiler is alive and well and it has a handy switch for such a thing. I'll get to this in a coupla dayz

Quick question. Do I need to pay another $30? Game Ex works fine on the Win7 side of my machine however the Win8 side is not fully functional. Also I have a acer touchscreen has any1 been able to get the touchscreen games in Mame to use the touchdcreen? Tried various settings and I still need to use the mouse.

Does the Mame compilier app still work for current MAME? I haven't compiled my own in years tho. Just curious

didn't work. I guess a housecleaning in the MAME folder is needed. I haven't done that in awhile.

If you wanna move the post plz feel free. Now here's where it gets weird in a separate folder I can use these roms on that test version that leaked awhile back. Metal Slug 6 and the neogeo battle coliseum play but in official 57 I get nothing but a sammy screen. UGH frustrating.

Oops sorry I always try to setup stuff and get it going outside fo game ex first. I am using the GUI

I was wondering if any1 uses Demul for atomiswave? Everytime I try I get Sammy on the screen and nothing else. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx

Thanx. I'ma hafta get and try Skyrim. I'll letcha know how it looks. Well actually it's a entertainment PC also I have a TON of videos on it from cartoons to police shows to classic TV etc. I'm still in the process of loading programs. I only have a few to go. I'm also gonna tackle setting up Game Ex and all the emulators I have. I also need to update my Mame and ROMs geez.

Believe it or not I found the problem. Shorty after this thread I noticed I was having trouble with everything after a period of time passed. I was getting BSOD for everything. I couldn't play a movie or surf the web for more than five minutes without the dreaded blue screen. At first I thought it was a virus so I tried to reload windows. I had so much trouble doing that. When I finally got it done I got BSOD before I could even load any motherboard drivers. I also noticed on the startup screen for win 7 had garbage on it (a little). I did some poking around on google from my iPad and came up with one solution. My RAM was bad. So I took out the 2 sticks of patriot RAM I had and replaced it with four sticks of Corsair. And low and behold all problems are gone now and even my type x games work again. I will never buy patriot RAM again.

Tried using the frontend and launching the games directly. Either method works on my other computer. When I first built my new game tower they wouldn't work. I reloaded Windows and they worked for awhile. Now they don't cept for arcana heart and SSED. Honestly it's cool. I have PS3 ports for KOF 12 & 13. I can get Blazblue when the mood hits. I also have a PC version of Street Fighter IV Arcade. I didn't play the shooters so it's no loss

It's gonna hafta be one of those weird problems that can't be fixed without a complete reload of windows. I ain't going thru that for type x. The games work on my other win7 64 bit rig just fine go figure. They just won't get played on my new game tower. I even redownload a game to see if files got corrupted somehow to no avail. still crashed. oh well thanx all. mods plz mark resolved or delete

Has anyone had this problem? I have tried to run my Taito Type X games today for the first time in a coupla months. They all say game.exe has stopped working windows is looking for a solution blah blah. The only one that still works is Samurai Showdown Edge Of Destiny. I tried fooling with compatibility mode settings no luck. Which is rather odd because everything was working before without messing with it. I am running windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. So if anyone has had this problem please let me know how you fixed it. I guess I can stick to the PS3 ports I bought.
