Adultery, it's not hard at all. All you do is daisy chain the ground which is usually the top of the button/microswitch into ground on the IPAC or JAMMA harness. then you wire each individual connection or button to a contact on the IPAC. For JAMMA use test mode to find your buttons if you are like me and too lazy to trace wire offa the harness. I have lighted perfect 360(s) on the way for this. When I get off work today I'ma wire up the lights on the buttons and fans. The lights, fans, and joysticks will have it's own separate power supply.

Off topic (kinda) but here is my W.I.P on my Ultimate 3 sided cocktail table. It will be running Game Ex when completed as well as consoles. I would'a got Tempest to help me but he was slackin so I had togo elsewhere http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=106835.msg1131769

This is what I did for my DeskMame. I used Mame32 and setup my favorite vertical games one by one. Time consuming I know but once mame make a individual config file you are good to go. Maybe not the best way but it got the job done. Also Tempest was slacking on me so I had to use someone else to build the table I would put it on the sticky thread for cabs but I need to buy a computer for it. I'm a lil tapped atm (I've got $800.00) in it right now. For the moment I have the Wii hooked to it. I did buy the Ultimarc Wii and PS3 adapters. All I have left like I said is the computer and the joysticks.

hmmm I have just built a killer 3 sided cocktail table. I find all this interesting. I would think you would keep Game Ex on the horizontal side and use mame to rotate the vertical games. Just my 2 cents

A++ for effort. Lack of a readme in the download doesn't help either. I can still run it outside of Game Ex. Unless someone answers my post over at Mameworld it'll stay running outside of Game Ex as far as Dreamcast goes thanx again

Got a command line for Game Ex by any chance? After I made the last forum post I found the settings for .cdi thanx Frequency. Top notch assistance as always.

yes I am. the only thing Demul will open for Dreamcast is CHD. Unless I am missing some kind of setup option.

does any1 know how to convert .cdi to .chd for Dreamcast use? I haven't tried it in Demul and would like to compare it to NullDC

even with the command life modification you still have to select the game from within Demul

it'll run outside of Game Ex fine. when I configured for Game Ex Demul just sits there like waiting for you to tell it what todo.

it's not the mapfile it's the emulator itself. Demul just sits there like duh.
