Xml is on PinballX ftp. This is only if you want zen tables launched in the menu. Much better! Menu even got faster again On my first load, it loads Amazon Hunt. As the video zooms in there was always a bit of choppiness , nothing to get worried about, but that's more or less gone now.

Actual menus speeded up a bit after this, I had tried 1.17 not long ago and can notice difference there , but still pretty laggy on my BG videos made. Will try one of bitupsets BG to see if they run ok, maybe it doesn't like the way mines encoded.

Win7 64. I haven't tried with XP. Stick with your -applaunch , if it works that way. If you have focus problems again you maybe could pre launch a script to bring FX2 to front.

Yeah it probably is, these videos were made a while back. Will try at some point, I still have source audio.

Like you mention Pocketpal it isn't the PF videos. I'm not sure it matters how BG is encoded, it still lags. For me it just makes the menu real slow and the BG music still plays, untill its finished playing when you're in a table. I only had 3 backglass videos, these were ones I knocked up. All with custom music I mixed for the tables. They pretty much got removed on day one and I said no more of it.

Cheers. Black screen on exiting pause menu back to the table for VP. You can push pause still but that takes you back between pause & black screen.

Is the new custom systems relying on a table folder path? For whatever reason the xmls appear for custom but system doesn't launch.

I think I've found a problem here. As soon as a gameplay video is started it's closed half a second later. Copy any table video to tutorial or gameplay. Rename it to Whitewater (Williams 1993).mp4. Check whitewater in pinballx. You should see the video pop up and whitewater come back.

I have tried a few conversions, but none were successfull. mp4 to mp4. mp4 to avi to mp4. Never had problems making table & backglass videos working.

Yes, tried alot,recommended sharks and my own. I think they could be converted to similar as what the table video mp4 is. If i drag any table video into gameplay or tutorials and rename f4v to mp4 these work fine.

Has anyone else tested the gameplay/tutorials yet? I've tried every mp4 & h264 setting in the shark codecs gui. All videos work with mediaplayer, vlc, winamp but not in the frontend.

Cool. This will allow favourites to work properly for the systems?

I have a favourites xml with all the Zen tables. Favourites only work with official systems FP & VP. Placing this Zen.xml into VP or FP is only way to see these visable. Cannot be launched with VP though.
