  1. Do you have videos and snaps for the games you are asking about? I don't know if snaps will take priority over video snaps, but that might be what's happening. Try removing static picture snaps and try again.
  2. Good point! Circo is primarily focused on US sets and uses NoIntro naming, both of which would be problems for what you want.
  3. I think he just likes making text files with pipes dividing data. So, MAME output is probably the best way to go.

    new cab build

I think I would have a seizure If I was a passenger in that car.
  5. Hehe, the only thing missing is the changing marquee! Cool, cool!
  6. I haven't checked in a while, but I'm pretty sure EmuMovies has complete sets for most Nintendo platforms. You might want to check since Circo does some really nice work!
  7. If this is for another emulator using MAME roms, you don't need to do this at all. GameEx now creates a MAME database during an update so you can just have the emulator use that if you want. That's what I used to do before the mameemumap.ini feature was added!

    new cab build

Gonna be tough to play with that solid wood board covering the screen.
  9. I thought that included a bunch of other junk as well. Haven't tried it, so I'll take your word for it.
  10. I think you can use ROM Lister for that as well. I don't know clrmamepro, so I wouldn't know how to do it that way.
  11. Hmmm, then it must be a codec issue. That would have been my first thing to check, but I figured you might have already tried that.
  12. If you have a new fancy video card and/or new fancy monitor, then some of these have fancy copy protection built in. I don't have either, so I don't know what that gets you, but it has to do with HDMI stuff and some kind of encryption. Just a thought...
  13. Ok, so you aren't having a problem with joystick input, you are saying your joystick stopped working (semantics...). Anyway, you are having a problem with your setup that uses a keyboard encoder and custom keyboard inputs in GameEx. See, that's a different question Tom's here, I'll let him take this one.
  14. No, there is no check box to change in GameEx that will make this work. There is a batch file that GameEx already creates that is linked in the start menu called "Run Last Game.bat". By default, this file is located in "C:\Program Files\GameEx\DATA\runitgame.bat". If you installed GameEx somewhere else, you will need to find it in that installation location. All you need to do is open up the Setup Wizard and find the "Launch at startup" item and add the location to that batch file in that field. DONE!
  15. You can't upload all file extensions. txt and zip work though. It would be best if you modified your last post to change the content to a gameex.ini.txt file or something. I'll glance at your log in a second. UPDATE: Okay, it looks like GameEx is detecting 2 joysticks connected to your system. Are you using custom inputs? It looks like it should work. I see that you have custom inputs turned on but custom joystick input turned off. It also looks like custom keyboard input might not be turned on. If so, then perhaps GameEx is getting confused as to what it should be using? Stab in the dark...
  16. I sent one and it went through. The second time I tried to reply it gave the following error:
  17. Post your log.txt file. It might also be helpful to post your gameex.ini file as well.
  18. I don't know what the problem is. I would try disabling any plugins to see if it's related to a plugin system change.
  19. I told you how to do it. There are much more complicated ways that could probably be developed, but this is the easiest. There is no way built in to GameEx. Guess my method wasn't what you were hoping for.
  20. You can get new key mechanisms from your local box store (Lowes, Home Depot, etc) or hardware store. The type of locks used on arcades is pretty standard, so you should be able to find something. Just be sure the key codes match on the different locks or you will need a bunch of different keys to open everything!
  21. The only problem I can think of is 24 bit audio. There's a limited number of apps that can play that high a bit rate. Make sure it's 16 bit. Otherwise, I got nothin'.
  22. One way that may work for you is to set GameEx up to launch the "runitgame.bat" file on startup. That should work, but it may need some tweaking.
  23. If I understand your question, you are asking if it is possible to have audio in your videos play during attract mode. Yes, you just need to adjust the settings of your attract mode to allow for audio rather than music only.
  24. I don't think Tom has done extensive testing on Windows 7 at this point. There have been a few reports of problems and I believe he's been checking them out. However, since Windows is still just in RC state, I don't think Tom wanted to work too hard on it yet. I heard release will be in October under the current plan, so it's got to be pretty close at this point.
