  1. Depends on loads. Brief google search: https://www.pcreview.co.uk/threads/wireless-usb-extenders-why-do-they-not-seem-to-exist.4054522/ wireless usb extension might not be possible? Also - what is the usb device?
  2. @RedDog - heh. Naw - I was clear with Tom that I wouldn't be very good at the day-to-day forum moderator stuff - I just aint got the skills for that. In that department, what I have been doing is as I'm setting up new emulators, I put an entry in the wiki for that emu. Thus, passing on emu setup knowledge, saving someone else the job. The other side is writing plugins and software so you guys can download it to have it break on you because it's made from spit and glue. Oh and let's not forget media set creation - big fan of that! Think we are blessed here with not too odoriferous members. If you head on over to byoac - there's a handful of real stinkers there who just ruin the fun for everyone (although this seems to be getting better). I still wish, though, that more people would contribute rather than just take. I think the percentage of contributors is really low. The game icons project, for example, is a great idea, but hardly anyone's helping out despite not requiring too much technical knowledge. And sorry, but if you can set up emulators, you can figure out GIMP! 2p worth over.
  3. I may have a look at this at some point in the future, Draco. There's a couple of problems: a) I'm not massive on mame or pinball - nothing against either, just not an area I'm overly familiar with in terms of understanding all the intricacies about what you're after. Point being, I couldn't visualise what you were referencing above - illustrating my lack of knowledge around it. There'd be a significant period of researching how it all worked even before putting words to IDE! b ) I've put on about 3 stone over the past couple of years from eating pizza and taping words onto a screen! I've really gotta commit to the gym, outside and fresh air! I'll certainly keep it in mind, though. I'll invariably get around to more detailed mame/pinball work at some point and bet your bottom dollar I'll look at it then
  4. I meant the other tequila drinking Dazzle! You know - the one who walks on his feet a lot...
  5. As for that Dazzle fella - all he does is get drunk and sing chumbawumba....
  6. This, in particular, is well said, Draco. There's some very selfish, high-entitlement ****s in this hobby who contribute nothing and expect everything. One fella told me that he thought entering his own game controls in CPWizBiz was "too much like hard work" and that he was expecting to have it come pre-populated (presumably just for him). I politely explained that it had taken me nearly 3 years to code (given that I didn't know how to code!) and thus I was a little too tired to work night and day just for him and that I couldn't ensure his needs were prioritised over everyone else's. It doesn't take much to learn GIMP or gather assets. Sadly we live in a world where there is a huge sense of entitlement and low drive towards community or contribution. Most will continue to be walking cliches, but some will surprise - I live in hope! Thanks for all your mod work, Draco - you're a trooper in that regard - you do mega-more than I do in that regard!
  7. Pah. Getting bored of it already. I'm terrible like that.
  8. But we're still alive. I think.
  9. Thanks Draco - yeah I think this matches my brief research - looks like console/noon-arcade HD vids are limited. I think the guys over at Launchbox are producing some, but they don't seem as flashy. Also, downloading them one by one is a bit of a pain! P.S. Only two posts to go until Armageddon. >.<
  10. Are there hd emu movie packs available for other systems? Did have a wuick look but got lodt in the site!
  11. Nice feature.
  12. 15 years!? Thats some hardcore mmorpg'ing right there...
  13. Thanks, Venkman.
  14. Oh no. You misunderstand. I have the livingroom now. Ever since I buried them under my old room.... P.S. You're only 20 posts off that number you've been seeking all these years: What happens then? Armageddon? Redemption? Cheeseburgers?
  15. That'd be funny if it wasn't true. That's like looking in the mirror. >.< aaannywhoos.... Elder Scrolls Online - I'd recommend it.
  16. indeed.... :/
  17. Anyone playing it? I've just come back to it after one of those freeplay weekends some time ago. It pays to persist past 3 days - I'm hooked. I did try FF14, but a bit too WOW for me. Just a great balance in this game - makes for very chilled MMORPG'ing (if that's even a verb)
  18. You are a brave GameEx explorer, venturing into uncharted emulator waters on behalf of GameEx. May your board hold straight along the crest of that sufami and we beseech you to return victorious with new knowledge and magics for our awe and admiration. Oh wait, or is it tsunami?
  19. Happy birthday dude. May your balls run straight and your flippers remain tight. (errr....)
  20. That's because it's not able to run sufami yet from command line. If you look at the reply from "devinacker" - it looks like he's willing to code it for you. I'd reply "yes please" in that forum and be extremely greatful! Either that or try the retroarch option.
  21. @Alan Ribas OK - messed around with this for a while via snes9x. You need a sufami turbo bios, of course and also an image of the "Suffami Add-on Base Cassette." You'll have to make images of these from your originals, of course. Having sank 30 minutes into it - found out snes9x is buggy [1] So - ran out of patience with it. Did find this however. Search "sufami" on the page and you'll see that there's a retroarch core that allows you to mount the two carts from command line: http://www.snes9x.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=23747 Be helpful to others if you could report back if you get this working. Good luck, fella.
  22. Starfox 2 does/did look phenomenal. Bet the devs were spitting feathers.
  23. 10 new images added. See here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B61tme5vcXMeZEl5TWJXZXNtNUU Couldn't find a decent Amstrad CPC image. Sorry Alan!
