  2. finally for those who likes this baby there is an update ... here is a distription : After more than 2 years without updates here is a new version of my Model 2 Emulator. The main changes are all speed related. The emu should be faster now. Also it now supports Frameskip and AutoFrameskip. This will probably be the last version of the emulator unless some Fujitsu TGP MB86234 docs appear to finish the emulation of the 2 and 2A cores. http://nebula.emulatronia.com/
  3. nope the roms isnt big at all 100k to 300k its the encoded streaming (film/audio) there takes the space from 1.5 gig to 4 gig depending on the movie/sound quality if its worth it are a matter of taste some seems those types of games usesless where its just pulling the stick to a side at the right time other finds them really enjoying so its a matter of taste .... i myself like alot of them. but in a way understand those who dont ....
  4. thx for the update Tom i only see the differents in Screenshots of games you can now read the text in them before it was blury... rest looks like before but i go for quality over speed anyday
  5. the way i have sat GameEx up are the roms i like cant seem to like the idea to have alot of Gig`s for things i dislike and never uses anyway (expect Mame thats the full archive only the CHD are handpicked) for the Psx the audio takes on many games alot of space tekken without the audio ttracks are only 39 mb tho i prefer them all with audio tracks but anyway here is my list so far its still getting bigger and bigger : 3DO = Freedo Amiga = Winuae Atari 2600 = stella Atari 5200/7800 = Mess C64 = Winvice / CCS64 Dos games = DosBox / Scumm Dreamcast = Chankast Nintendo64 = Project64 Nintendo GBA = VisualBoyAdvance Nintendo Snes = zsnes Phillips G7000 = O2EM playstation = epsxe / pSX Sega CD/x32/Mega = Kega Saturn = SSF
  6. Its added now to the Theme-Site
  7. looks good i see you like computer girls

    Mame 107 is out

    im still wating for mame32
  10. not in the arcades in your place mby but im sure they are in asian countries still and M.A.M.E. is trying to emulate all arcade games alot of the games you wont see in the arcades as well either becouse of age or they dont bring in money...
  11. who hasent got Trivial Pursuit or Monopoly board games laying around i guess the differents are we dont wanna use money on those types of game in the arcade (unlike the asians) the MahJong are kinda simple games so not a big thing to release a new clone here and there and if it makes money well who wouldnt keep it going And there are ALOT released for the Pc as well all those Hoyle packs ....
  12. ok i will try to explain how i have sat up the amiga in GameEx ... first this are a time consuming process but i think so far this way are the best becouse the amiga are alittle special differents kickstarts/chipsets/680xx modes all there are unique for the differents games to work .. here goes : first start Winuae up lets say its " Mega lo Mania " you wanna add .. set it up with the right settings like how much ram/kickstart/chipset/68000 then insert the 2 floppys in the "floppy drives" section (if the game are more then 4 drives use the "disk swapper" as well ... Now you should have it set up save the config in "configurations" section call it forexample "Mega lo Mania.uae" test it in winuae see if it works if it does then you are ready for the next step : Now its time to set GameEx up so change ROMFilter to ROMFilter=*.uae RomPath=your path (where you stored your .uae files) Command=winuae.exe -f "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" hope it helps or are detailed enough EDIT : there is a new version out 1.3 of Winuae btw http://www.winuae.net/
  13. even if there was a emulator out there i doubt you wouldnt be able to play it with full speed
  14. night

    SEGA CD

or what im doing what afcouse require some time as well.... Convert you iso/mp3 to Bin/cue as a bonus i found the emulators even have alittle better synch when its audio tracks instead of Mp3 .... and you get rid of all those mp3 files as well...

    more M.A.M.E.

well .107 (when released) and a few releases ahead you should consider them to be alittle unstable becouse of the new rewritten display driver and other major rewritten things but i agree i always only get the main releases as well but just wanted to point it out so it wouldnt suprise anyone Night
  16. night

    more M.A.M.E.

seems there will be alot of changes in the upcomming mame and as well to the -listxml command just wanna make a notice so it wont suprise anyone July 16, 2006 MAME 0.106u12 discription : Getting close now. This update includes a newly rewritten windows.txt describing all the options in their new arrangements, and some updates to the -listxml output to represent multiple displays and input controls. If you are a frontend author, this release is something you will want to pay attention to!
  17. oops didnt noticed that... Its reapacked with the font now (its not copyrighted i hope if so let me know and ill remove the font from the package again) Night
  18. Dosent Matter its now added to the Theme-Site for all to enjoy now
  19. skinnin are still alittle new and many people dosent even know GameEx supports unique backgrounds for each emulator tho many do choose when making a theme to make one standard background becouse there are so many systems and really takes ages to complete a theme .... still there are the "theme-Editor" where you really can do alot without being a grapichal wizz i guess sometimes its easier to just say others do that for me than give it a go yourself this isnt meant as flame or anything i for one think there are alot of really well made themes i would say are in the "high standard" catagory Night
  20. i think the persons there thinks its MCE alike have just installed GameEx and didnt bother to change skin or get the other skins becouse the default skin are alike to MCE but thats really all there is to it.... just my 2 cents..... Night
  21. yes i noticed that to i disabled the "Game Extender" that made the Cpu drop alot on my end dunno if its that is the troll but it just made GameEx run better here.... and GameEx startup faster as well
  22. night

    this is awesome :)

thats a great idea you got there for theme emphatic i kinda like it and im sorry for the off-topic tread just feelt it was something nice for us old ones there had one of those babys when we was young
  23. i dont know if there is anyone as old as me and remember the golden age with those kinda pocket games they just had some basic BIP BIP sounds and the background was painted on the game and only one color where used anyway here is the link : http://www.madrigal.emuita.it/ Ps : its in italian tho (but there is a english button inside)
  24. im not trying to sound bad or anything but thats more like a wallpaper when you make a theme its a complete GameEx package like : bars/slider/backgrounds and mby icons i respect your effort but its not really a theme but keep messing around in photoshop alot of neat features and mby someday you have a complete theme then ill post it on the Theme-site for all to enjoy
  25. the font size looks way to big imho even your roms cant have long names or they will go out over the edges and not be shown.... just my oppion tho and i have never tryed that resolution so afcouse i dont know if thats normal ..
