well i looked at the warrenty papers and noticed i had 2 months left of my 2 years warrenty and have a chance to get it repaired so ill try that first else thx for all the suggestions

last night my computer went to black screen nothing was shown i tested the gfx card on my GF computer worked fine (damn was hoping it was that simple) removed all hhd cables and cards (sound card , network card) still no luck leaving me with only the motherboard,ram,cpu and afcouse gfx card... tested the ram on my gf computer as well again worked fine so i did come up with the conclussion its either the mainboard or the cpu there have fried so im a forced upgrade to the lowest price anyone there have some suggestions it have to be minimum what i had i wouldnt go for a downgrade old specs. P4 3.0 asus deluxe main board 4 ddr ram 256mb (dual channel)... 3 ide hdd 80gb ,160gb, 80gb 1 sata1 320 gb hhd .. G-Force 5600 FX Ultra

sorry i cant help you with "u64emu" emulator in GameEx but if im correct its a Killer Instinct 1 & 2 arcade emulator right ? those 2 games runs really well in M.A.M.E. so i would go for that instead hope that helps ....

im looking forward to try the theme editor alittle more and see what Game-Ex can do now tho i noticed gameEx crashed with my v2 theme but after i loaded in the theme editor and didnt change anything just hit save and ran gameex again all worked fine great update GameEx are getting better and better each time i guess thats the purpose with a update

looks like you got it now but the background makes the mame list alittle hard to read i would suggest you changed the fonts color to another color so it would be easier to read else well done

hmmm in the title name area there comes a period "." like this : 0188 - Atlantis - The Lost Empire (E) . (just with more spaces) as on the screenshot provided i dunno how i can explain it in another way but its only when i have pressed on the game name to get to the option where i can play the rom or look on the cart/box art.. hope its more clear now its really hard to explain

i have tryed differents things to no avail im still getting a "DOT" infront of the name of a game i have selected example .... its only when i goto the menu where i can choose "play this game" or view the differents art pictures : http://www.villabynet.dk/michael.hechmann/temp/Example2.jpg when im in the normal game selector menu there is nothing there the "DOT" are gone like this : http://www.villabynet.dk/michael.hechmann/temp/Example1.jpg all is fine there its only when i goto the play game menu it appears. So im just wondering is it a thing in my end or a bug ? is there anyone else there have this problem ?? i know its not a big thing but im kinda a perfectionist

rename your Blade trinity picture to "bak.PNG" and maybe "startbak.PNG" then it should work ... and if your pictures are in jpg format you need to convert it to .PNG (shouldnt be a problem even it have the wrong file type) but just if you wants to be on the safe side PS: if you wanna have forexample the Predator picture as background for your video section only then rename it to : "videobak.PNG" else use the theme editor its slick and easy to use

only the most reason msgs nothing to worrie about for my side it was just a few replies here and there not the old ones they are intact afcouse i cant speak for others if they are missing a reply or a topic they created ... its no problem, i just feared the forum got hacked or worse

i noticed a few times an error when i try to log in and after some time it seems fixed but some forum msgs are missing or replies so is there some problems with the database ?

can Iso images contain audio tracks ?? i would go for Cue/bin the sound tracks will be more accurate when they are as tracks in a image and not as mp3/wave in serparete files ....

i have changed from ePSXe emulator to pSX since the v1.2 it plays "Valkyrie Profile" one of my PSX game fav. and are pretty impressive compared to the few releases ..

well now that Headkaze have been so nice to show how to get snaps/covers ect ect. then i thought why not put my GBA custom Background here as well its not much yet but i think some will like it anyway or might have some use for it

ahh yes Paradroid when i first saw it i was like what the h... is that took me some time to get into (i was only a stupied little teenager) and the amiga version was great to with better gfx and sound and still had the gameplay from the c64 in it thats a game i still load up from time to time

ohh damn there are so many for my sake the games i hold most dear are older generations games like the C64 i guess its becouse i had that and used more time on it than any other machine even i owned quite a few in those years ... if i should mention others like arcade i would say the old vector game star wars i did put Alot of coins in that machine and was nearly on every high score spot now i have it in mame but rarely play it its just a personal thing the memories it bring back when i start it not so much the game today the first consule there really stunned me was PSX the only consules i had was the atari 2600 and phillips g7000 (there was collection dust in the basement) so it really did blow me away at that time becouse i still played on my C64 and amiga i never knew there was a SegaCD if i had known about it it would really have been a hit for my taste as well now i only play the games but not with the childhood feeling even the games are great on it like : snatcher, Vay, Shining Force, Dune (movie and speech wasent on the amiga version) all in all i dont have as much spare time as i had as kid but the feeling are still there but now im just trying most emulators to see what i did miss in the 80`s 90`s i could easly make a top 10 list but i wouldnt know what to put there becouse i have so many favorites..... tho i must say arcade (MAME) comes in last place for me ....

i got Winuae running nicely in GameEx im not sure what you are after but i have made the amiga after my own taste divided in sections like : Demos/games/cd32 i could have made one complete section but i prefer to have them seperated. if you are familier how to use winuae (like differents kickstarts if its Ecs/Aga and so on) then its just to : ROMFilter=*.uae then guide it the folder where to your .uae files are RomPath=your path last Command=winuae.exe -f "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" that should do the trick the only thing are you have to config all your games what afcouse can be alot time consuming ... ps: remember to add your disks in Winuae and save your config else it will just start up in your kickstart mode ... hope it helps

you sound like a really talented guy have you ever thought about doing a emulator from scrath yourself ?? if i had your skills i think i would have tho my skills are not in that area its in the grapichs areas

i use norton but not the newer versions they idd takes alot of power away from my precius emulators but i think norton detects virus fine tho not spyware and that kinda stuff ... have done scans with others didnt find anything else what norton did... but would never upgrade to a newer version of it tho.

i hate virus and i never understood the benefit with one guy sitting making a virus there only have one task ruining it for other users

sorry to dig up an old tread but i have been trying to get the launcher to work flawlessly but there is a problem i cant get solved the launcher works fine it starts the game as it should and i have used some of the flags to get things like fullscreen/cpu overclock/delay ect. ect. All that are really working well but the problem are when i hit the escape key sometimes when it goes back to GameEx the Chankast emulator isnt shut down and running in the background while GameEx are running as well its only 2 times out of 10 but i cant seem to fix it ... Any suggestions ??
