I have to agree with Circo on this one i prefer clean sets and no hacks or homebrews (in most cases they are incomplete anyway) only thing i put in from some systems are translations from a .jap game to UK becouse i dont understand a word of it else and some games are great and sadly never realsed in europe or US my 2 cents tho. a feature i myself have loved to be implented but i think it require one with know-how to make a codec for Media-player and Tom for implenting it in Game-Ex i have tryed searching for it came up empty handed tho i found a pluing for winamp ( sadly its outdated and now as good as sidplay2 http://sidplay2.sourceforge.net/ ) and would prefer to avoid Winamp as music player in game-ex anyway i dont think its possible as it is now sadly

hehe i sold my a500 but keept my a1200 tho that is in the basement gathering dust even have a c64 there as well 2 of my all time favorite systems ever with alot of fund memories last sadly not many knows how powerfull the amiga "REALLY" was what we only are able to do with new cpu`s the good old amiga could with ALOT less horsepower my a1200 system pepped alittle up now im using it on winuae sorry for going alittle of-topic here

there are a few amiga emulators out but as headkaze says the best one by far are winuae and none amiga emulators as far as i know is "easy" to setup becouse there are so many amiga systems i grew up with them owned a few and buying a game could be confusing as well forexample i remembering buying the game called "soccerkid" for my amiga 500 even it said it was competible it didnt work and found out i had to buy a new kickstart chip for my amiga i had a kickstart 1.2 but it only worked on a 2.0 ... so in other words many games works on differenets settings and i dont think any setup can be 100% competible with all games without somekinda database for each game what i think are to much work and effort becouse its not that hard to manuelly with alittle patince basicly make 4 or so setups (a few more if you wanna have cd32 and cdtv as well in) a4000/1200 : 2 mb (chipram) none slow . kickstart 3.0 . AGA Chipset . 68020 CPU a500 : ram 512 (chipram) none slow . kickstart 1.2 / 1.3 . OCS Chipset . 68000 CPU a600 : ram 512 (chipram) none slow . kickstart 2.0 . OCS Chipset . 68000 CPU a500+ : ram 512 (chipram) 512 (slowram) . kickstart 1.2 / 1.3 . OCS Chipset . 68000 CPU those should as i remember the systems make most games work on one of the above settings but always fizzle around some games works as well with slowram like Paradroid you get enchanced sound/music with 512 extra ram

i had a inet downtime last night where i couldnt get online and wanted to fizzle alittle around in GameEx but it took way over a minutte to start and thought ok it might be the Game Extender there make GameEx hang alittle trying to connect so i went into the config but that took also over a minutte to load so i was wondering are GameEx trying to connect to something when you start it ?? becouse after my inet got back it started up in a flash .... i think that already been tryed and there didnt came many and none idlers so i think Tom made a simple chat instead even so i would like to see a irc channel as well would bring people more togther i think after some time

when i joined the forum iguess GameEx was in the early stages but i helped where i could suggesting when i had ideas and got just as much back in return i never regret signing in i still remember my thoughts back then "hey this frontend are ok but Mamewah is better" but i saw some potential in it and it have gone beyond my imagination long ago what it would offer and now i think "Mamewah are ok but GameEx is better" even GameEx is better (my thoughts anyway) its still the comunity there makes me keep cooming back reading the forums so thx to all for your effords and time Night

i think most rightfull word would be "simulated" becouse as far as i know nothing are either Extracted/ported or dumped not that it matters its still bring kickass memories back

not sure what you mean but if i remember right some .dll files makes conflicts if you copy all in the same folder so i belive you need to make sub folders for each game to make it work hope it helps Night

yea got the same and some more a favourite one i had as a kid not "Game & Watch" but "Epoch" was named Monster Panic sadly i havent been able to find it or knows if it have been emulated/remade or simulated

http://themes.gameex.net/ anyway you can follow the process there but i can say it will undergo some heavy changes (the theme i mean) the basic idea will stay (charaters/Baks for many systems ect. ect.) the reason are its to much alike the Valhalla theme and the fact is Amos have joined the project so it will have pure quality for sure and should be finished faster even alot are gonna be redone so the fact is its a theme by Amos and me now and i can say so far im really happy with the result we have reached so far Headkaze i guess that would make sense ill do that when i get a banner to show for it in my signature Night

they are on torrents but the thing is its kinda a double edged sword becouse those sites there have the torrents have roms as well emumovies (circo) however do sell them on cd packs as well but i dunno how trust worthy he is i did win a Dragons lair 2 Org. dvd on his site 2 years ago but never reviced anything got alot of excuses but mby when you pay its differents but i guess linking to emumovies there links further to other rom torrents sites dunno if thats any problem

i know i have asked this before but its still there bug or me there is doing something wrong when i navigate in my emulator titles and choose one i get to the "play this game" ect ect. but when im in there lets say its the rom "x-files" in my Psx section it stands like this "x-files ." im little puzzled why there are a "." after the word with many spaces it looks alittle weird i have made a movie clip to show it better and its in all sections i choose hope i made any sence Night

sadly there have been in the past and afcouse here and there some pops up with one thing in thier mind "Making Money" as bleem, CDIemu ect. ect. but when a product appears as this where the Author is really dedicated to his work listen to his users and helps when it takes alot of private time what i respect i dont see any problem takin a small fee for your work when a person is dedicated and friendly/helpfull i doubt there will be many against there are alittle fee its still a damn good product even if a person decides not to pay
