just wondering. When i go into my favorites folder with my gamepad, by default the cursor stars at the bottom of the list? isnt the cursor supposed to start on top when selecting favourites`?

hi some games isnt found by mame 32+ (the gui version). like 3 or four games. but mame finds 50% of those games how come gameex finds them when my mame cant find them in the rom folder. (eaven though they are there)

hi.. it would be great to be able to youse the mamewah backgrounds. and showing png and video on diferent places on the screen at once. (in contrast to what its now png or avi snap) so 2 different snaps/per game. and importings from mamewah

OK just finished some logos for very often used logos. if anyone likes it i could make som more. ps i cant do this but i got a great idea for a theme. a rain theme with daindrops on the background , and some raindrops pooring down along the screen. (bet it would be hard to doo those raindrops in motion) . but you know. someone who knows the in depht of theme making should consider doin it. would be awsome wellwell check this out for now. and keep up the good work all. nighty peace. PS is the avi snaps capped at any size? my Wmv video i want displayed as avi snap for a certain game is 50mb? is it to big for gamex to play maby? peace

thx for the reply, and i really will register soon. could it be for me that the avi is not working cause its a wmv? or that my gameex is 5 months old? i specifyed the video snap path, renamed the WMV to kinst (the same as the rom) it should work?

im really a bigger noob than you. but when i first started using gameex i found out that not all roms work with the newer mame builds. so get your games running with the mame you are using first. then i noticed that alot of imperfect and bearly working games + neo geo games wasnt showing up in gameex. what i did then was to just adjust the filters in mame options to get those roms showing. but im a big noob and didnt quite understand your question. so maby someone else with greater knowlage could answer this.

i know creating avi snaps is for registered user. but i recently DL an awsome Kinst video and want to see how it looks displayed in gameex. im not getting it to work. so i assume that showing videos also is only for registered users? (in contrast to creating avi snaps) so is showing avi snaps also for registered users? just a quick and easy question. peace all n keep up the great work

cant seem to find info on how to create avi snaps in the faq. i got this feeling there is a button in the gameex program that lets you press it to create an avi snap but i cant find it. where is that button supposed to be? is create snaps only for registered userS?

THe soulcalibur theme bugged out on me while entering emulators . went black.. i could not se any video or moving pictures either. srry (running an old but stable version of gameex)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ hey yes while playing HD dvds you dont have to upscale so much. therfore your TV seems very good. because it already displays HD movies and its a HD tv BUT, say you want to play a old regular DVD, then FFDshows upscaling features is like 500 times better than any of the hardware upscalers out there. You have to set your TV to output 1:1 though. (to not scale anything)- this is because you can adjust everything on your own. you can set the sharpness by your selfe and alot of interlacing aliasing features n filters. making the regular (look like shit dvd on a hd tv) almoast comparable with a hd dvd. BUT DONT SCALE BOTH FROM THE SOURCE AND ON THE TV. ONLY LET 1 machine scale. double scaling gives lesser quality. if both your computer and your screen scales the picture (its one time scaling to muchs) therfore to both scale with the computer and with the built in scaler of the tv at the same time will give you a wors image. PS Headakze if DVD playback is available for non reg users aslo. what majour feauture do you get when you register gameex???

ok thx alot. ill dl and play around with the upscaling filters. You guys should make some nice preset for the upscaling options, thus making gamex a upscaling dvd player. a (what seems to be) an easy and very value adding feature in gameex. ps you have to be a registred user to get the dvd playback via gamex in ffdshow right?
