further investigation shows. i run D:\mame32\mame32\mame32.exe puckman -rompath D:\mame32\mame32\ROMS -triplebuffer -nowindow -joy -artwork -artwork_directory artwork i think the last "artwork" is missing a "-" in the line so its maby supposed to be D:\mame32\mame32\mame32.exe puckman -rompath D:\mame32\mame32\ROMS -triplebuffer -nowindow -joy -artwork -artwork_directory -artwork " - " that - thing is not iinfront of artwork word the last sentance when gamex tries tro run it. how come? how do i fix this?

Im " slipstream19 " on xboxlive mostly plays forza2 // Doa4 // other games supporting splitscreen Im a very casual non-competitive gamer that dont give a s* about achievements and gamerscore

ok i tested around with the paths from the RUN , (run comandline) and think i maby found the solution (that gives more questions) i run D:\mame32\mame32\mame32.exe puckman -rompath D:\mame32\mame32\ROMS -triplebuffer -nowindow -joy -artwork -artwork_directory artwork (i think this it what gameex want to run) (from the logfile) and nothing happends.! BUT,,, when i exlude "-artwork -artwork_directory artwork" in the path gamex want to run i.e (only have) D:\mame32\mame32\ROMS -triplebuffer -nowindow -joy it works. (from the commandline) so im guessing these old games dont like the -artwork things, is there someway to get gamex not to include -artwork for certain games like these 2 old ones? or is there a more simple solution?

1 seeing from the basic mame settings it is D:/xxx/xxx/mame32.exe so im probably running mame 32 via gammex. apparently 2 ok when i run "run last game" it a "dosbox like screen" just flashes by and nothing happends :S what does this meeN? PS: These 2 old games work nice in mame32. but only goes black and then back to gameex launching them via gameex. :S

most games work fine in both mame32 and via the gamex interface. however pacman and donkeykong isnt working. they are old games yea burt why is mame just going black and back to gameex withe these two old gameS? (when they work in mame32)

hey yea it all worked nice de la nice. i had to install net 2.0 (without any hassle) The upgrade went flawless. exept me loosing some (not all) of customised icons in the mce glossy pack. (smart as i was i backed my own icons up) (icons fore "multimedia" "mame" "favourites" and so on. . no biggie thouhg. they were backed up and all is good. but everything else for what i have noticed is precisly like the old gamex ps: a quickie . where is the gameex intro video path located in the configurations? thought about smashing up some cool intro video. ? feels good to be a premium member. thx again

to bad the 360 dpad sucks. otherwize its awsome. id vote for the ps2 controllers though. they should do em wireless. thadbe awsome.

http://www.inphasetechnology.com/images/eb...963335-1914.gif i got these (but they dont have the analoug stick) :S but theyr really sickly great when it comes to the d pad. i do alot of ffightinggames and this cheap pad is the best dpad ive ever had. better than most of my friends much so expensiever dpads and the 360 controller d pad. only flaw is that it dont have an analoug stick iv heard that the ps2 controllers have both awsome dpads and analog though . (witn an usb extention to them)

Hi im running gamex 6.80 and will upgrade to the newest version now. well there is some things i was wondering. wehn i install the new gameex will it just overinstall the old one? and some hard to get right pc games and Chancast batchfiles and stuffs will all that get erased? is it possible to update witout any re installing emus and command lines in gameex?

.... you want a controller with a deacent analouge stick and a good dpad. (the 360 controller is exelent exept for the d pad) so i suverly warning you not to buy the 360controller (because of the flawed Dpad) other wise that controller is great (for N64 emus and other analoug stick games)

-- yeah most games work fine. use jabos latest plugins. (do a quick search for the most common ones, want any tips pm me) but some games 7% maby is a bit whacky ....

i might add that i do alot of trance music on my spare time (on a pretty good novice level) and could easily do some tunes/effects n stuff. depending on how you want it. i could give it some tries.

* i do not have a license* (yet) The core reason of this boards supremacy is due to the people in here! (ofcourse) smile.gif We all really care about this board. This isnt one of those boards you go into once a year or so and spam something around. When people of this board se what people actually are contributing ,a sense of grace deepens in you that ive never felt on another board ever. And eaven if someone "seldom" happens to cross the OT line, like when my com crashed, (and i dont know exactly who helped me) (it was last year) but some smart guy on this board helped out fixing it upp and running smile.gif and TOm, still down to earth eaven though he has celebrity status, hedkaze and the other big contributors. bah smile.gif you have respect for this board. and the personality and the IQ that surrounds it smile.gif ,the big guys in constantly contact with the little guys like me. pretty n00b to emulation and computers and stuff and all that is command lines smile.gif In the end i think helping others makes others keep on helping others and an good circle of helpfullnes and joys is formem on this board making it exellent. It goes back to the big guys like tom who founded the board from the beginning who have spread love. and now we all keep on spreading love biggrin.gif (in a non gay way) (not saying gay is bad thougH) smile.gif peace on!

Amiga 500 was the shit yeah. the biggest reason is for the game "supercars 2" wich works nice on the winuae // But the controls is sometimes unresponsive. (in multiplayer) have anyone tryed supercars2 in multiplayer for an extended period of time and had the controlls work flawless? peace!

(something like the nes or snes emulator) (that kind of easy)?
