  1. There must be a combo of buttons. Somewhere, somehow, I must find it.
  2. There's a link on this site to mng's for mame. Go get em tiger. As for recording console movies, get fraps. It's not free but any game in fullscreen mode it will capture. Set framerate to 25. Record with no sound as to not interrupt your music.
  3. I don't know? But I hope to be able to give you access to my releases as soon as I hear back from Circo. Cool guy.
  4. snaps made by gameex usually are preceded by 0001 0002 0003. Make the names match up to your games.
  5. On the last page of each emulator section is a setting that says SHOW LAST PLAYED. Set it to NO.
  6. Yeah, mine does that too. I mean, it shows a pic if the avi is not there. But remember, roms and avi and png names must match up exactly. They should be in the same folder snap too.
  7. Tom, do you what combo works. I can fast forward, rewind, pause/play, select, and go back and forth between chapters in Gameex's builtin movie player. By the way, bloody brilliant. But I can't figure out how to get back to the main menu while in a movie. It says on the website under faqs that it's supposed to be ALT + 1. But that doesn't work.
  8. Sorry I got here too late, but the mame framerate could also be due to this: go to mame32.exe outside of gameex and in default options for all games, try switching around the display from Direct3D to Direct Draw or vice versa. I can't remember. This is how I solved this problem.
  9. Go to Mame32 outside of gameex and click refresh on the list. That might also help find which rom sets are bad and giving you trouble.
  10. Is it just me or are others experiencing that? Is there a combo to get back to the main menu of a dvd? The default controls page on the website says ALT + 1. Can't get it to work.
  11. Problem Still Exists. But setting it back to Custom Language is as easy as pie.
  12. This problem I encountered before, sometimes it would crash gameex, sometimes it would just go black, crazy shit happens. There is a way to fix it. I just can't remember. Does this only happen in Mame? If it does, refresh you game list, delete the specific mng that does it, and if you updated your mame, make sure you have the correct roms because sometimes they change with new mame releases.
  13. To everyone that says their first page menu went back to the original, go back into the config ---> text/language option ----> select custom.
  14. Sorry for the delay. Had to move and upgrade my dsl line. Took 2 days to upload them to my pub folder. But they are there. As soon Circo gets back to me on how you guys can reach those files, I'll create a new topic with the address.
  15. Request: Emulated Groups should be under Emulated Games and there should be an ability to determine where it goes on that page instead of it just popping up at the top of the page (as it does on the main page of gameex currently). 2nd Request: Movies that play before Gameex starts up should have the ability to be played either randomly or one after another. I have 3 movies and it always seems like one of them plays more than the others. 3rd Request: You know how BFGtech product cd's has that intro movie where there is a round green explosion and then the word BFG pops up. Gameex should pop up instead.
  16. What I hope for is that emulated groups will one day be able to NOT BE PLACED ON THE MAIN GAMEEX PAGE, and to the page where all the rest of the emulators go.
  17. What I hope for is that emulated groups will one day be able to NOT BE PLACED ON THE MAIN GAMEEX PAGE, and to the page where all the rest of the emulators go.
  18. Gameex should just change it's name to GameSex.
  19. You might need to search for a NEO GEO bios. There's a website out there somewhere with all the updated MAME bios files. Also, try hitting update list under the MAME. Unlike consoles where you can just stick roms in the rom path and gameex will pick it up, you have to refresh the MAME list from within Gameex. There's an option to turn on the update list somewhere in gameex. Hope this helps.
  20. Okay, they are all rar'ed. I may have been wrong on how big this would uncompressed as compressed it came out to 3.5 gb. a2600.rar 30mb lynx.rar 60mb dreamcast.rar 126mb gba.rar 196mb gbc.rar 101mb genesis32xscd.rar 332mb ngp.rar 61mb nes.rar 634mb n64.rar 603mb psx.rar 407mb gamegear.rar 215mb sms.rar 165mb turbografx16.rar 121mb snes.rar 462mb mednafenboardgames.rar 182mb *a combo of gba, lynx, nes, gbc board games I'm ready to upload whenever I get the ftp address.
  21. As I currently am rar'ing them, there are two things I should let you know. 1.) This is by no means a collection of videos for EVERY SINGLE GAME IN THE WORLD. Whoever downloads them will be satisfied however. 2.) In some cases, you will have to rename the videos to match up with your rom names. I have done the best that I could in terms of providing quality names that don't have extra crap at the end or something. 3.) Okay, there's a third thing: Gameex normally runs avi previews in a ittty bitty little screen. I doubled that size of the screen and so these are high quality 80% indeo 4.5 compressed avi's that will look great even in big screens. Later, I'll take a snapshot of how big my avi preview screen is. BTW... my favorite and hardest video to take was for the psx: Big Game Hunter. I'm playing at wanting to capture a deer in the video and I kept on saying to myself: "Where the f**k are all the deer" Well, watch the video and I barely caught one in sight. 4.) Geeesh! I keep forgetting to tell you that none of these videos have sound (I think except for 1 video in snes) so as to not mess up with your music playing in the background for gameex.
  22. send me the ftp server. I'll see if I can zip up each of the avi's by console name. What zip method would be the best compressed and most easiest access for everyone?
  23. The problem is that you have to pay for cd's and looking at it it's pretty expensive. I'm talking about offering these for free. All videos are of my own recordings.
  24. To whoever may be interested, I have taken approximately 1000 video previews for the most popular games. I would like to help all cabbies and gameex users out there in this big way. I have videos for a2600, lynx, colecovision, dreamcast, gba, gbc, genesis, n64, ngp, nes, n64, visual pinball, psx, sega 32x, sega cd, game gear, sms, snes, and t-16. We are talking about 4 gb of video previews. Anyone interested in hosting? I think it would be cool to have a thread on gameex where people could just come to get the videos. I dunno.
  25. Menu wrapping.
