Didnt realise there was a newer version available. Ill update the GameEx install with that. Seems to work fine with version 3. So this will be in the next release. Im happy to hear your suggestions, not sure when therll get implemented, but go for it.

Frequency, I tried adding the extensions for zip and zipping up an mp3 and cdg together, but it doesnt seem to want to play it in GameEx. So its not going to cut it I think. Unless im missing something thats special about the format? I've only got very few karaoke files and none in .bin format, ill see if I can find one somewher.

Chriss, I didnt think it would be something as simple as this, as you said youd tried "everything", but if clicking on a song does absolutely nothing then it sounds like you have Karaoke in Queue mode instead of instant play mode, perhaps? Just click the menu item.

It might be that resolution settings are set in theme.ini for the theme you are using. What happens when your click maximize?

Im getting adverts for Gold for games. I wonder if I go down the park kids will by monoply money off me? I must be getting old... Or kids today are too busy downloading ring tones at a couple of bucks a time to learn anything?

Update by Flash, and now available for download: Sega Naomi Now contains more Naomi 2 roms (20 more) All known roms will now match with mame named romsets, this should really help the rom matching for many of you.

I want to double check it not a bug first. Can you be very specific and honest about how long it taking and your system specs. Did it take an even longer time the first time you ran this version. It should have done. It really shouldnt take 10 minutes every restart of GameEx.

The database support in GameEx is a very powerful evolving and exciting feature. Thanks to Flash the following database updates are now available. Minor updates to:Atari 5200Atari 7800ColecovisionNew databases:IntellivisionSega Naomi 1 Arcade HardwareIf your not currently using the emulator databases, I strongly suggest you reconfigure. You can always get the latest databases by manually downloading and installing GameEx which will auto upgrade. Or downloading the offline install archive.

With this release i forced it do it once only recache for the other systems feature. It won't do that again. I meant to put it into the release notes but forgot. It should be quicker after restarts though unless theres some problem. You can turn it off by turning off the other systems feature. You must have hundreds of emulators setup if its taken a long time every time?
