  1. The project is complete now and on the FTP. Here are the final versions for the famous artists. Ben_Daglish.zip Matt_Gray.zip Jeroen_Tel.zip Martin_Galway.zip Rob_Hubbard.zip David_Whittaker.zip
  2. Damn, gotta get me one of those! I guess there is still some work left for MAMEDev.
  3. Always like to hear nice things. Thanks and enjoy!
  4. PinballX does not support trackballs by design. I am happy to look at supporting a trackball if you can convince why it would be good for the experience in PinballX as it does not even support a mouse right now. If you mean its not supported when launching MAME from PinballX I can think of no reason why it would not work but try adding -lightgun to your MAME command line. In older versions of MAME at least lightgun support needed to be specifically enabled with -lightgun but for games that use a trackball such as Marble Madness or Missile command I don't think it needs to be enabled but maybe -mouse?
  5. I thought you hated PinballX by the way since you gave it a one star review?! Not only do you get free help, but free software too, which you are obviously using. Love you! Sorry, rant over. Maybe its a millennial thing?
  6. I've looked at the code and I am pretty sure the Hi-Score snapper plugin is appending "-video ddraw"
  7. I am sorry, I don't really know how to fix it I am just offering general guidance on what the issue is.
  8. Sorry if I am repeating myself but "hard" crashes like this are almost always down to codecs/drivers. Its the only "unmanaged" code GameEx runs when browsing the list and the exception is external. I realise that does not help much but again its almost always Codecs/Videos/Drivers when you don't get a proper error log in GameEx. ie its something external to GameEx.
  9. And since we are talking electronic music.. Blue_Monday_-_Antony_Crowther_&_Ben_Daglish_-_1986.m4a
  10. Here is the master himself. One of these goes out to Flash Some of my favourites also uploaded. (I used Thanatos in a demo. "Wot no drums".) Rob_Hubbard_Collection_M4A.zip Sanxion_-_Rob_Hubbard_-_1986.m4a Sanxion_Remix_-_Rob_Hubbard_-_1986.m4a Thanatos_-_Rob_Hubbard_-_1987.m4a The_Master_of_Magic_-_Rob_Hubbard_-_1985.m4a Warhawk_-_Rob_Hubbard_-_1986.m4a Thing on a Spring - Rob Hubbard - 1985.m4a IK+_-_Rob_Hubbard_-_1987.m4a Delta_-_Rob_Hubbard_-_1987.m4a
  11. The Ocean loader was on the tape loader. I think it was on several games. It was very similar to the Rambo tune.
  12. That guy is pretty cool. What talent, eh. Here is Ben Daglish and Mat Gray Looks like Jeroen is still making music:- Mat_Gray_Collection_M4A.zip Ben_Daglish_Collection_M4A.zip
  13. The best SID tune ever made is probably this:
  14. Here is all Martin Galway. Like I said Rob has not converted yet. Martin_Galway_SID_Collection_in_M4A.zip Arkanoid - Martin Galway - 1987.m4a Rambo - Martin Galway - 1986.m4a
  15. Here is a bit more from Jeroen but the whole lot will be on the FTP shortly, all nicely, trimmed, tagged and named (little project I have been working on). I was actually with Jeroen at a Commodore show. We knew some of the same people although weren't introduced as such, we were just young anyway. I was about 15. S-Express was a good one. I am pretty sure I used one of his tunes in a demo but I can't remember which one. Golden Axe - Jeroen Tel - 1990.m4a RoboCop_3_-_Jeroen_Tel_-_1992.m4a S-Express_-_Jeroen_Tel_-_1988.m4a It's_a_Sin_-_Jeroen_Tel_-_1987.m4a
  16. Yeah so modern, lol. Simple Minds were in the charts and Ron and Mags were running the world.
  17. Just curious!? Little (or big) media (assets) release I've been working on which will be available shortly. PS: Sorry, Rob's not done converting yet! PS 2: If I don't get at least 2 likes on this topic, I am quitting GameEx! 22. All I can say is.. I feel your pain. PS: Definitely drop the phone service. VOIP works great these days. I recommend callcentric. I use an Obi.
  23. GameExtender was initially designed to show artwork on a second display while running GameEx on any device on your network. It will cycle through artwork for the current running game. The remote control piece came later but yeah it will do that too.
  24. It sounds like you already have the files so why not access them over the network?
  25. I attach a debug version of gameex.exe. Maybe it will give some more info? GameEx.zip
