  1. Ok first off i want to thank all involved in making this happen, Steam integration is literally (and i mean that in the literal sense, not the non-literal sense that seems to be the craze with youngsters at the moment ie "my face literally fell off and then i died, literally") the only reason i wasn't running GE as shell, so this was a MASSIVE deal for me. It also means that all the ppl whom i've tried to persuade to try gameex now have no excuse! It was the one thing that persistently came up. In light of this (frikkin awesome!) feature i couldn't help but put a demo on my channel for my mates to see hehehe. Now i don't get millions of visitors but i get few and thought i'd share it here even though y'all are fully aware of GE's progressive epicness I'll put the vid description here as i know a lot of you won't visit my channel but i'd be very gratefull if you did: "GameEx is a fully featured emulator frontend/game launcher/HTPC/media center software developed by Spesoft and is the first to feature Steam integration! Thanks to the amazing team at Spesoft you can now launch your Steam games using nothing but a gamepad or arcade stick!. There is a free version with no time limits or shareware nonsense so if you are retro gamer who uses multiple emulators, a modern gamer who is into Steam, building your very own "MAME Cab" or simply looking for a good all-round HTPC software that will launch all your games using nothing but pads/sticks then go grab yourself a copy!: http://www.gameex.com/ Video features the brilliant "The Darkness" theme by RageOn - download it here: http://www.gameex.co...oad/Themes.aspx Before anyone asks - NO, i do not work for Spesoft, i am simply a regular who uses GameEx and in my opinion think it is the most outstanding piece of software i've ever encountered, and so i'm just sharing the love =P" The vid: [media=]

  2. Hey, As Pure GameEx by vsilvalopes is one of my favorite themes to date, I asked if I could mod it to my liking, after his blessing I came up with Pure GameEx Revisited, It follows the same path as vsl's theme, with most parts being the same, ie selector, positioning etc.... 1920x1080, Ive tested this theme on a 42" HD tv and on a 17" Dell laptop and it looks good on both. I just changed the background and frame and added logo art to each system available along with tweaking some piece sizes so it fits properly. It is finished but I need to go back and remove some very minor errors I overlooked. I may even decide to put some background layers behind the list, but not sure yet.

  4. Ship shipley! It just occured to me that the screen array is zero based (which explains DJoneK's issue as well). If anyone has downloaded 1.0.6+, please take note of this and be aware that I added the code to fix this. You will want to use the number that's assigned to your monitor in Windows (primary is 1, secondary 1 is 2, etc). I'm taking the - 1 into account before passing the screen variable now. So in DJoneK's situation, you need to change that zero to a 1 (the way it should be) instead of subtracting one yourself, so please fix that. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Version 1.0.8 Is Out: (Plugin) Removed manual overrides (Use the GUI monitor assignments instead) (Plugin) Code cleanup as a result of the above (Plugin) Fixed the monitor array to reflect the actual Windows monitor configs (1 is primary, 2 is secondary, etc). Please use your Windows monitor assignments! Download it from the first post.

  5. Have you tried removing the "background" path from the emulator config? This happens to me also when i set the background path in MAME, in all views apart from the horizontal scroll view like you showed. I simply removed (emptied) the background path and now the theme background shows. Maybe irrelevant to emulators as i've not set any recently but worth a try, maybe.

  6. I thrown something together, haven't tested it much (4 games) Set SteamLoadBlank.exe as a run before for Steam, in the GameEx Setup Wizard. What it does: Creates a blank, black overlay and displays it. Waits for Steams GameOverlayUI.exe to load then the script exits revealing your loaded game. I'm sure there will be issues though, I've test with a couple of games that use wrappers and they worked but I'm sure this will cause problems with some games. It will definitely cause problems with any game that doesn't use the GameOverlayUI.exe like 'Binding of Isac' I have built in a couple of fail safes: 1. The black screen will only stay for 30 seconds max 2. Press space bar to exit anytime If it proves successful we could probably build in a blacklist that would stop it running for problem games. 7. I just got a new game (Snuggle Truck) and it needed a wrapper (keeps asking for the screen res ever time you start it) So here is the Wrapper for you all to stop it 111100 - Snuggle Truck.rar.

  8. I've uploaded 2 wrappers, not sure if these will download automatically or if Tom has to manually add them from the FTP 12140 - Max Payne 12150 - Max Payne 2 where did you get id 201330 for Max Payne? Mine is showing 12140 I couldn't get the hiding to work as the window would still appear then hide, so it's no better than the window appearing then clicking play and the window closes anyway I'll attach them here in case they don't get added to the installer automatically 12140 - Max Payne.rar 12150 - Max Payne 2.rar
