  1. Hello, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Joan, Im a video game and emulation enthusiast. After debating with myself I have decided to make the move from Hyperspin and join GameEx (after a nudge from one of your members KRC) I look forward to spending time in the forums and no doubt will have questions regarding this great frontend in the future. 2. KRC, great logos. I really think that we all themers should unite and make a big project for GameEx. Something like you're doing, but imagine for Snes or Mame. I know, It would take a LOOOOONG time, but with 6 or 10 people working on it, we could finish entire romsets in some months. What you guys think ? P.s. For people interested in my two themes (MetroEx and Pure GameEx) i'm finishing the console logos. I think that I covered almost 70 diferent systems. I'm planing to release everything very soon and togheter. Sorry about the Ad.

  3. Hey, These logo's have been in under wraps for the moment but i thought I might aswell share now, as more of my other projects have recently been completed and full sets uploaded to my Projects Page I will be uploading as I go along, these logo's are alot harder to create than my previous submissions, but will be well worth it in the end. As I am very much enjoying creating these logo's, I am open to any suggestion's or request's. Sega Genesis Nintendo Entertainment System

  6. @Null: nope to #2. All lists are sorted alphabetically MAP file or not. I did add functionality to sort your list in Map File Maker though in case Tom grants my request for manual sorting with a MAP file.

  7. I have Steam setup in GameEx to look for *.url, *.bat and *.exe. For games with launchers I have an AHK script set to launch the game then click the button or send the required key combinations. For games that don't like joypads I use the batch files to launch an Xpadder profile before lauching the game. My only issue with GTAIV was that I had the 'Wait Before Keys' only set to 10 seconds so this didn't give the crappy Rockstar Social Club login time enough to appear and login, it did sometime and others it GameEx would kick in then GTA would appear a few seconds later. I've attached my GTAIV AHK script you can see if it is any use to you. I have the following Games with launchers working no problem using AHK scripts: Rocket Knight Street Fighter IV GTAIV Trine 2 I think no matter what way it's implemented there is always going to be the odd fly is ointment and Binding of Isac is certainly that. I don't have a solution for this one but I do think it is a rare case as it is running in flash Stu Grand Theft Auto IV.zip

  9. I have made this thread on the basis of sharing my personal artwork that I use for my GameEx setup. For some of my emulator entries I have a specific game series that is present, eg. Final Fantasy collection contains epsxe and all the Final Fantasy entries on the PSX. I have roughly about 15 of these and I am due to make more so I can access my favourites even more easier. These entries of mine do not have any artwork except the artwork I create for them, They are not named accordingly but can easily be modified to do so. I will also be making new logo compilations aswell. Maybe someone else can get some use of them too.

  13. THEME ABILITY REQUEST: Ability to add any of the following to a theme (note, any/all of these may be coming in an update but I haven't read through this entire thread so...)...in order of what I think would expand themability: 1. Placeable static images (i.e., not dependent on emu/etc.) for any individual layout where you can do X/Y/Z positioning for them (i.e., insert a png file at x:10 y:100 top z layer in a layout.) 2. Seconding a request above, ability to select what field is used for Image 1/Image 2/etc. from those set in Config Wizard 3. A placeable image (X/Y/Z positioning all controllable) that is based on the emulator name. (e.g., ImageEmu). This could make themeing a lot easier by making it possible to have a emu 'theme' image that can be placed on a standard background. (This may be possible now using a logo, but I'm not sure how and if you were to do it then a logo would be set that might cause missing art issues.) 4. Add missing art images for each image possible in a theme (i.e., Image1, Image2, Image3, etc., all able to have 'MissingImage1-EMUNAME.png's' And...I'm done with requests/suggestions for a bit I think (I may have requested those already...sorry if I did... )
