I know Im not suppose to post here but more people

use the main forum.

Ive still got alot of games to put in,Its cool that now I get to play

Im going to have to change some buttons

I was wondering does visual pinball&future pinball use the video card ?

I tranfered them to my cabinet and they play horrible,theres slowdown,ball blinking

I havent looked yet but I think I dont even Have a video card in it.

It tells me Iv got a Nvidia Geforce 6100 nForce 430

Isnt that just the motherboard.

Isnt that just the motherboard.

Welcome to the joys of getting a preconfigured box. It probbaly is a nforce chipset with an Intgrated geforce... Meaning it MAY be using system memory (some dont) and they are generally less powerfull. If you have a pci express slot available Id goto the store and pick up a 9600 they are about 200 dollars.

Future pinball is very resource intensive on the video and cpu.

virtual pinball not so much..

I hope they didnt claim you would get great performance with that pc. It's not bad mind you.. But you really should grab a dedicated graphics card... and a sound blaster audigy dedicated card... That will help ALOT.

No they didnt tell me it was great,But I figured it would have a video card in it

I thought about this (preconfigured box) after I ordered it.

No big deal but I like my pinball as much as Mame

So Ill have to get a card,I thought about switching computers,just change the HD

Looks good. I bet P1 gets crammed against the wall with 2 player fighting games though. I would try rotating it 45° in the corner so that it's pointing into the center of the room. It won't take much more space and it will give the players more room to move around as well as the possibility for spectators.

Actually I taking it upstairs,The delivery company wouldnt do it.

So Ive got a Dolley me and some buddies are going to do it

My wife hates it being downstairs.

Do any of you guys do that?

Even with GameEx on my computer I dont really play it.

Im consantlly doing something to it.

Ah, so you have reached the same conclusion that I have, our hobby is not playing games, it's emulation. I have 47 confirmed emulators running, and set up in Gameex. The funny part is that I haven't bothered to map the controls in most of them, so I couldn't play them in my cab if I wanted too. :P

Yea I think every sence I've been using GameEx I tweak it more than I play it. When I think I'm done and go to shell it I want to add something else to it :D Oh and awesome cabinet btw ;)

The other day my girlfriend asked me when my machine was going to be 'done'. She wasn't nagging me, just asking a matter of fact question and I had to laugh. Done? What do you mean by 'done'? :lol:

My wife asked the same question. I said "well that depends on what you mean..." I personally would say it's done when it's out of the house. On the other hand, if I said that, I might be "done" too :P

Where did you get your cab? It looks like a slikstik. I like your CP layout!

I got it from DreamAuthentics,Im pretty happy with it

Iv still got alot of tweaking to do!!
