Lol, actually I have all the consoles and the pinball tables just wondering with my setup would it be worth the time, when the monitor dies I will go with 4k I really don't know what the difference is,(gameex and EVO) but always looking to upgrade!!

Ive been in the the arcade scene since it started, Im 52 and love it as much as in1980's when I discovered space invaders, now nearly 40ys later, Ive got my own arcade machine with (Gameex of course) I have everthing set up exactly how I want it, I have a WellsGarner 9400( I think) so I can only go 800x600,convince me why I should get Evolution, what can I do on Evolution that I cant do on Gameex, not being a a##hole, it took me so many years to learn Gameex, can it make my gaming experience better, Just a question..

little follow up I got the pre-2015 IPAC usb cable everything works great.

yes Ive got a usb key board its the cord that connects my ipac the one end is like the old keyboard plugin,do they make a new cord that has a usb on the end?

Awhile back my computer die so I replace it,the one I replace it with didn't have old style keyboard hookup so I bought a usb cord that the purple connection,plugged everthing up now I notice a few games like digdug,burgertime the character will move a little ways and stop for a milisec Has anyone ever have this problem? games like pacman,canival and all the shooters play perfect.

I recently picked up a bunch of playstation games at a yard sale. Will the playstation emulators play the original discs?

My computer died in my arcade machine and I lost almost everything,all my game videos,mame ect I bought another computer that has windows 7 on it,does game ex and windows 7 play nice together? and I did manage to save my game ex folder, so putting everything back together should be a lot easier.

Yes thats where I got them and it is 4-way to 8-way,But IMO its feels sloppy to me,I even put the ball top on the joystick,but it doent have that tight feel that the pacman joystick had.(maybe its just me lol)

Does anyone know where I could buy a true pacman joystick for my cab,I have the mag stick plus which works great,but for pacman I dont care for it at all.

Ok, there has been alot of tweaks thats been made that I really like.It took me about a year to get everything just how I wanted it. But I need to take advantage of the awesome work Tom had done on this frontend.(best frontend in the world today).

Ive been using gamex for a few years and everything is working great,but im using version 9.83 If I would update to the latest version would I have any problems being I havent updated for so long? Just dont want to mess anything up!! Thank You

Its been a couple of years since Ive compile mame,I have on my cabinet and its works great,so I thought I would stick mame on my computer upstairs,Im using 0124,when I compile I get a error at 5min28sec that reads (make:***[obj/windows/mame/mame/machines/scramble.0]error1)I think Ive got it setup right(but Im probably wrong) Does anyone know whats wrong?

I have it setup in windows I play House Of The Dead 3 all the time and Ive tried setting it up in mame Ive tried a couple different guides(Didnt Help) I just gave up,Its a shame though because there are alot of great lightgun games on mame.From what Ive read on the forum the last couple of years this is a very confusing setup for alot of people. It would be GREAT to have a step by step walkthrough for this.

How about a chapter on how to setup a lightgun in mame(TopgunII) I just cannot get this to work.

Ive had the Saturn emulator (ssf) working great thur GameEx. never played it for about 3 months. Tried it the other day the emulator loads up but it tells me (Disc unsuitible for this system) I thought maybe the bios were corrupted so I change them,Didnt help. Ive havent changed anything in my advance config. Im using .bin files Im using gameex virtual drive the only this ive done before this happened was put more ram in my computer I posted my log. Any thoughts.log.txt
