Does anyone here know how I could turn on the Sega CD from the cmd line (Kega Fusion)? From the CD drive, not from an iso. I tried using 'fusion.exe -fullscreen -auto -mcd' but that only got me the static screen.

Yes, you can place a Sega CD game (any region) into the disc drive and boot it up in Kega Fusion. I have .isos working from the command line (they work like standard roms), but I'm adding a menu to boot CD games from the drive in my cabinet, so I need to run this from the command line. I may try and contact Steve (the creator of Kega) to see what he says.

if you open kega cant you choose the cd drive on the menu it should then default the selected cdrom, or does the command line bypass this?

Ok found some answers:

I´ve tryed also with ssf(saturn) and it works great, now the problem with fusion sega cd is that daemon tools doens`t load fast enought for fusion, wait before keys also produces the same efect.

Here´s what happens:i chosse a game to play(sega cd),game ex lauches the emulator and daemon tools also with the image, but i got the player screen on the fusion,so if i do a right click and chosse boot segacd it loads.

So the problem is "time",doens`t the launch before should work?I have daemon tools command there. It only launches at the same time as the emulator i guees.

Gonna try with a newer version of daemon!!!

Regards

Ps:I think the command line bypass the cd-rom,there is something missing in it i guess.

Ok,after trying a lot i`ve reached to some conclusions.

I think the reason for this not to work is because the roms folder pointed in gamex config isn`t the same when the sega cd runs(virtual drive),because when it loads, the sega cd player loads nothing, just the message no disc.

So until rooms in folders is implemented ill use the bin/cue method.

Regards to all
