scroll wheel error

Good after noon...I just updated to the last version of Game Ex...When I scroll through the game list wheel at the 16 game the logos all dissappear for a second and all I see is white text.. then as long as i dont enter a game it will not do it again. 

it does not happen going downward on the wheel. 

If i go into a mame game and play when i come back out it does it all over again.

it looks like you only have 2gb ram!? is that right?

Maybe an issue with the 19.80 install that would be remedied by 19.82 install? Although, 2GB RAM seems pretty lean.

I wonder if it was an incremental update or an update from some versions back. Regardless, I would expect GameEx not to work at all on Windows 10 64 bit with 2GB ram. Although it runs on my Google TV these days so who knows!

motherboard issue. Configured incorrectly. Corrected now but still having the same issue.

it ran fine save this new hiccup. no problems at all. I had just updated my cpu about 4 months ago and never caught that memory issue. PC boots right into GameEx. I never see the Windows Environment unless I have to. I have many small grandchildren playing on this cabinet. The LAST thing I want to do is give them access to Windows. lol. I works like a more traditional arcade machine with coins and all.

I used whatever the newest install is. I uninstalled my older version deleted everything I didnt need and installed the latest, newest version.

Im using and older ini...maybe that has something to do with it??

Can you try downloading 19.82 to install over the top of your current install and report back with a fresh log file?

This IS a new install. Brand new. downloaded  the latest version  just a few days ago.

Exactly what I said. Your version 19.80 is what came out a few days ago. 2 new versions - 19.81 and 19.82 -  have released since.

You're welcome! It may or may not make a difference but always best IMO to be on the latest.

Updated to 19.82. Same thing. If I scroll upward on the scroll wheel in AE when it gets to the 17th game listed..no matter how slow I go It will flash white text of the game names. Now if I go downward first and then go up, no error. If I go down only, no error. Its only upwards. Otherwise GameEx runs great in Windows 10.

Does this display error occur at the All Games menu, MAME menu and/or submenus, or other game menu lists, or within any game lists?

So I only have one menu. I'm just loading maim games in AE. Game e x loads in and then you see the main display with all the games on the right hand wheel and all the pictures of the snapshots and the left as the game scroll through.. Sorry about the glare.

If I play any game, it plays just fine. And I can back out of the game. No problem. But if I push up on the stick to select a different game in the scroll wheel.When I get to the seventeenth one, it'll flash...GOT IT!! Just like this!!

i have no idea right now, sorry. i cant see any issues here, Maybe a corrupt image or video. does paging work?

I don t use page. Its been disabled.

I could see a corrupt image maybe if it was the same image over and over thats not loading or casing a glitch but its always number 17...from any starting point.

i dont believe you could disable regular paging. its usually left and right.
