Using parts from this build, GPU from @ClassicGMR, and parts obtained from a Thermaltake case I acquired, I decided to refresh my niece's PC experience as she experienced a bad PSU and was in need of a slightly smaller case than the Antec P280.

A 2nd Gen i7 and 24GB RAM is a nice combo. The quad core still can run a lot of things and the GPU definitely helps. Hell the RAM running at 1600 instead of 1333 is nice!

Yeah I had two different kits of Vengeance - an 8GB (Black heat spreaders) and 16GB (Blue heat spreaders). My CDO normally wants everything to match, but, due to the same shapes and the blue & black motherboard aesthetic, it just works.

She's spent several days playing GTA V online with nary a stutter or freeze. Before with only 8GB and the much more limited Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 OC 2GB GDDR5 barely kept up. She practically has a new PC and can play almost all but the most demanding AAA games.
