Hi there,

After reinstalling my pinballcab to windows 11 I have this bug exiting pinballx. Starting VPX tables is running fine,  my
I start pinballx, let it alone for a while, it randomly shows some pinball tables I installed and then I exit to windows, my windows desktop is shown, the music of the last showed pinball table is still playing, it doesn't unhide the mouse pointer and windows tool bar. Sometimes it takes a minute and then is fully exiting but mostly I have to reboot to get my mouse and toolbar back. When it hangs and I try to end task Pinballx in the taskmanager it doen't get the mouse pointer or toolbar back.

When I check the pinballx.log the last item is Exiting XDMD,  I have a PinDMD display is working fine.

Do you guys have any idea what can cause this?

I know there were some issues with pindmd v3 in the past. I can't recall it anymore, but the longer PBX was open, the longer it took to exit PBX (even into minutes). I thought it was resolved at some moment as well.

Not sure, but I thought it had to do with DOF as well. Are you using DOF? Can you try to disable it (within plugin manager) for a test?

Maybe related to this post as well:

Hi Mike, here's my pinballx.ini as well.

I am using DOF and I disabled it with the pluginmanager but that did not make a difference.

Indeed exiting PinballX takes longer when the attract mode is running longer as well. Realy weird.

I will look into the post you send, thanks for your time.

You can change that in PinballX Settings while the issue is investigated (under display settings, set hide mouse cursor to no). Sorry, no real dmd here so i can't help with that.

Another quick fix is to hit the Windows key (if you have a keyboard connected). Type PinballX hit enter and directly close pinballx again. It will bring back your taskbar and the mouse pointer
