What determines image display size?

I keep running into the following weirdness:

 

Since I'm not a fan of Tarcisio style wheels, I have my cab set up to display the game wheel images in an arc, with the system overlay on the top left and the company logo on the top right above it.

However, the size of the logos varies wildly. See the following images:

 

I'm guessing the display size of the system logo (here the "Visual Pinball" one) has to do with a combination of the size of the company logo and the wheel image.

If I kew how it's calculated, I could resize my image accordingly.

For reference, I've included the system, company and wheel images in the screenshots above. Logs are also included.

What' is your settings in 'Display Setting' and than "crop wheel images" ?

Try this to set on the other value that you have.

I used logos as well in the past with a nice underlay and all showed fine.

Try making all the company logos the same size (or at least a similar height & width ratio) by adding a transparent area to the left of the main logo as a first step

e.g.

(note - they probably won't look good if you enable the Show Additional Info area later)

That should at least stop the overlap of the system and company logos, but you then may need to do similar with wheel images (maybe make them all square - but leave the auto crop option set to off if adding transparent areas above/below the main game logo).
