Pinball FX3 Animated Backglas if i playing ?

Hallo all together

I want ask you is it possible that ia using the Animated backglas also if i play a Table?

When I start Pinball X and then select Pinball FX3 tables I see animated back glasses displayed in the preview menu.

When I start a table, the image in the backglass changes to a static image.

How can I display the animated backglass when I play the table?

How can i change it this from a Statik backglas in FX 3 to the Animated backglas?

Are you just using looping videos in PinballX and in game after launching the table?

If you have backglass videos AND backglass images in your \Media\Pinball FX3\ subfolders then PinballX will switch to using images instead of videos after launching a table. If you want to keep displaying the videos instead then remove the backglass images.

 

(if you are trying to use DOFLINX active backglass files with FX3 and not PinballX media files then DOFLINX support threads on vpforums are probably a better place to find support, e.g. DOFLinx Step-by-Step Setup Walk-Through - DOFLinx - VPForums.org)

Hallo

In PinballX in Preview Mode is all working fine but i want to use the Video Backglasses in gameplay in Steam if i play Pinball FX 3 not only a Statik backglas.

i try it out but iam not sure if i make it right.

I want use only for the first Time MP 4 Videos animated Backglassses.

I use the Folder Pinball FX3 - Data - Steam 

But if i delete the jpg from the backglas and have only the MP4 Videos inside the Folder so the Screen is black and not Video is showing up.

Maybe the MP4 Files are is not the right Format or the Directory is wrong?

Or is this not work only Video backglas mp4 in FX3 ?

You should not add the mp4's to the zen fx3 game to show them, but leave the video playing from pinballX

The option to enable video playback within the game can be configured through the game manager. I would prefer to use DataBaseManager  😎

I read this from Oktober 2023

To keep showing media on a screen after a table is launched you need to set that (per table) in either Game Manager or PinballX Database Manager (whichever one you're using).

In Game Manager select the game, and uncheck 'Hide Backglass', if using Database Manager select the game and uncheck 'Hide backglass during game' to keep showing backglass media after table launch.

 

I do it like this but no Luck the MP4 Files from the Backglas will not working

Besides your running an old version of PinballX (please update to get full support), you have setup pinballx correctly. I thought that you need to set in pinball fx3 the "backglass reposition" to off, to not use the backglass file.

This should keep the animated backglass from pinballx to show during game play

I update it to the newest Version of Pinball X.

I set up the Backglas Reposition to off in Steam.

I delete the Backglas jpg,s and

I put the Video Backglas MP4 Files in the Folder Pinball FX3 - Data - Steam 

But anyway there is not showing the Backglas Video i i play a table with Pinball FX3?

So what i can do now?

Please attach new copies of your Pinballx.ini and log.txt files since your change and after the error occurred.

FX3 doesn't support MP4 files, so this doesn't make sense.

Did you confirm when launching FX3 that there is no backglass?

What do you see on backglass ?

Always attach the files when changing something so we can see how PinballX is handling the changes.

Yes if i start and lunching a Pinball FX3 Tabel so there is a Black Screen.

Iam at Work and i can post the ini and log File if iam back at home from Work.
