tthurman Posted April 14 Share Posted April 14 Alan-1 is doing some interesting stuff, my first exposure being their Star Wars yoke, which is actually better than the original I spent way too much restoring. Aside from some finishing QC, it seems to be a pretty much perfected original. There's more as well, here: https://alan-1.com/ This however, caught me by surprise. Draco1962 Posted April 14 Share Posted April 14 I like the "Recharged" series overall, but the "Geometry Wars" reference at 3:29 stood out to me and was my first thought when I saw this. While the style is more fitting for Asteroids, I found it a little jarring when playing Centipede Recharged. I guess because Centipede, Missle Command and similar games were not vector games. Similar observations made here. I do like some of the updated sounds and the music adds to the adrenaline. The force feedback rumbles and knockers are a neat twist for an an arcade machine.
