[RESOLVED] Some tables not showing high scores under information

Some tables are showing blank highscores, or the highscores are not updating in the information menu.... I don't see a pattern, just seems random.    When I check the highscore folder in pinballx folder, some tables generate the text file, some don't...any ideas?

It is possible that not all may report a high score. Can you please attach copies of your pinballx.ini and log.txt files when reporting an issue? Also, a list of the tables that you are expecting to see high scores would also be very helpful in providing you assistance.

Here are the files......

Tales of arabian nights is a table that high scores are not updating....i deleted the high score text file.... a new file has not generated.   I play "taxi" just to test and that updated with a new high score text file.    I had issues with simpson's pinball party,,,deleted the game from pinballx, added the game back and it did generate a new high score text file and it is correct, but no luck when I deleted and added tales of arabian nights.

I understand some games won't show the high scores, but I am having issues with games that have worked for years.   I have 2 different versions of visual pinball in pinballx but the issue persists on both unfortunately. 

If you dont have any suggestions, my next 2 things to try will be moving pinmame to a different folder and restinstalling or installing pinballx in a new folder just to test.......bottom line is some games arent generating the highscore text files and I cant figure out why.

It has to do with tne pinemhi files in the pinballx folder.

Did you recently upgrade to pinmame 3.6 ? 

It could be that the list with names are not correct in the pinemhi.ini

I did update to 3.6.... i think your onto something, cause TOTAN doesn't update the highscore file on a different setup either.   I'll take a look at that link.

That seemed to fix the issue on my test setup thanks .Mike_da_Spike .  Oddly I did come across that post recently troubleshooting something else but never clicked in my brain.

Glad it worked. Don't forget to run Pinemhi monitor in the background as well and create free account.
