Draco1962
When reporting an issue, please attach copies of your pinballx.ini and log.txt files for review. Thanks.
Mike_da_Spike
PBX will hide the mouse during Start of PinballX, and will return the settings when it is closing PinballX in a normal way (not terminating the process) The hide mouse is done, that you don't have accidently a mouse pointer during game play or recoding videos or snapshots. If you want to have your mouse to setup things during launch of PinballX, you can use gamemanager.exe or Database manager and launch a table. This will completely launch PBX (with all your settings , scripts, plugins etc) to the table , but will not hide your mouse. I thought it was mentioned in one of the release notes, but not able to find it.
chadman
You can use any cursor you want if you replace the file BlackDOT.cur file in the PinballX dir. I do this because I always seem to be tinkering and like having the cursor that is easy to find and move around. So when I'm in game mode I use this large Mario Brother cursor that is easy to find. Then if PinballX crashes or something happens, I still have a mouse cursor. Keep in mind that if you do an update to PinballX, you will need to copy your custom cursor back.

But yep, if you want a visible cursor while PinballX is running then good solution.
AndyMcDandy
I simply just went in to my mouse settings and changed the cursor back to default.

In my case I share my computer for pinball and gaming so it's duel boot. In pinball mode I use the 3rd monitor for table setup and configs. Having a big mouse cursor makes it easy to do while in pinball mode. Just have to remember not to leave the cursor in the middle of the playfield or backglass😊
eduardNL
Can't we not just have a shortcut key to show/hide the mousepointer ?

Tom Speirs
There is a display setting option to hide the mouse in 5.97. Just released. Im thinking its mostly a crock of shit there is not an underyling issue for the topic or they are using an old version but i see a use case and its done.
