@Draco1962 Yes, again, you are correct, I managed to forget to install this, I did as you suggested and everything is playing the .mp4 files once again.

Question:  I've been running GameEx Version 18.38 on Windows 7 64 bit system (Yes, Registered) since it came out...  I downloaded the new upadted version, 18.40, however, when I go to install it, I get an error message saying, "This program does not support the version of Windows your computer is running"

I have downloaded the Version several times, but get the same error message when trying to install.  I have tried uninstalling the original program off my system, cleaning the registry and then trying to install the program, but that didn't work either.  I really don't want to have to wipe my harddrive and reinstall windows incase it is a glich someone knows how to fix first.

Any ideas on this one?  Lol, other than that, the system (Version 18.38) is running flawlessly and set up exactly the way I want it to be/look, Amazing Program that out Shines any others in my books!!

Thanks again :)

I've not installed the latest version as of yet. I have a Windows 10 system so may not be able to replicate what you are reporting.

P.S. I split this thread from you other post as a separate issue for elevation.

I have verified that I am able to download, install, and launch the latest x64 version to my Win 10 system. Tom will need to look into this to see if there is a missing Windows 7 dependency.

A quick question or request - did you attempt to use the 32-bit version and, if not, can you try that to see if you get the same results?

I just checked, thats what I thought I screwed up on. The minimum supported version in the installer says 6.1 though for the core version. That is windows 7. So it should be fine.

Fixed 18.41 out.

Todd is right. I moved to .net 7 that didnt support win 7. Then realised it was a bad move but I neglected to update the installer when reverting.
