Changing the visible homescreen options / Jump straight to all games

Hi all

LONG term user here (14 years - just looked up the email with my original key and it's from 2009!, GameEx and then both GameEx and Arcade)

Using GameEx Arcade on my arcade cab, I have a pretty limited game list but I do have MAME, M2, M3, a couple of Demul and a few oddities (American Laser Games)

I have them all setup to show on the all games wheel and all work perfectly
There are a couple of tweaks I'd like to make which I'm not sure are possible:

Remove the Genres, Search Games and Arcade games, and the other emus from the home screen - Basically just leaving All Games and Shutdown / Exit (Both of those I know you can choose to hide)
And/Or Jump straight to the all games wheel on start-up.

I've done some digging and these have been mentioned before as feature requests, but I'm not sure if they are a thing, a planned thing, or a thing you can do in the INI?

I'm not sure this is exactly what you are looking for, but it's worth a look.

Looks about right (and looks very similar to what I have on my driver, which runs 'full' GameEx - RacerMame being based on an old build)
Dumb question, how do you enable it?

That's *almost* exactly what I'm after, what would be even better is if you could amalgamate all the systems into a single wheel or at least select which wheel it showed first (maybe you can?)

Honestly I haven't played with it, instead just remember Tom posting about it.

Look in "Display Settings"  > "Interface Mode" in the Setup Wizard.

Yeah, I seem to recall a recent post about just that, perhaps Tom has enabled that or a similar feature ...

I have some experience with the feature. Using Left CTRL and ALT on the keyboard you can toggle through the MAME Genres or Emulators. I have yet to find a keypress that will invoke MAME All or MAME All + Emulator + Online Systems menus in an all inclusive menu.

A request  to add this functionality so the end-uer doesn't have to toggle through all genres and preferably enabled via Setup Wizard only along with a "lockdown" to avoid accidental toggle if keyboard is present.

@Tom Speirsis there a key press (or joystick combo) that will accomplish what I just described above or would this be a feature request?

I've managed to achieve what I was after, bit hacky but does the job.

AHK script to fire GameEX Arcade in standard mode, wait for focus, and then send DOWN and ENTER which selects the all-games list.

Make that an EXE and bung in in the startup folder

Now, if I could just get the MAME bezels to play nice I'll be sorted - But that's not a GameEx thing obviously, that's MAME, screen res and my lack of knowledge about lay files I suspect. (I have them selected as cropped in Mame, and they show up correctly, but are just slightly chopped off at the edges)
