Karmeck
Wheel images work though. So I sold my cab, and trying to set up pinballx on his computer using TeamViewer. But I just cant get it to work. Audio and, video and images all download, they just wont show up when lunching Pinballx. I had it here, working, showing him before purchase . And now my pinballx has the same issue. Windows 10, Visual pinball.
Mike_da_Spike
Did you follow the manual to setup pinballx ? Was it now working before you sold the cabinet? Limit information to make something out of it

Does this mean you have a 2nd install with the same issue?, as i understand it the original pc was sold with the cab - or was the cab sold without the pc?. I'm not sure if the issue is with a brand new install on a different pc or with the install on the original pc that was working before transit. scutters
Ok. so it's a brand new install on a new pc, just using your old pinball hardware. In that case most obvious thing to check is that LAV codecs are installed - https://forums.gameex.com/forums/files/file/2451-lav-video-codecs/

He kept the computer attached to the pincab, which he has since sold sans computer, files, etc. He did say that it was working before so maybe the codecs are not the issue, but no way to know for sure until the pinballx.ini and log.txt files are provided as requested. Karmeck
i noticed something now, I tried to change the wheel image for ac-dc, but it stays the same. temp folder cleared, about 50mb I see the media, and can change it and in changes for me inside game manger, like changing wheel image for ac-dc, but inside pinball x, it stays the same. This looks like a naming issue, or caching (but you cleared temp out) What you can do for trying : move all the files in the media\《system》\wheel directory to another location. With Databasemanager, download or add some wheels. Launch pinballx. Check if the wheels that you added are now available
Karmeck
more testing, moved one table to a separate folder, for kinda adding them by one, see which one is causing trubbel. Still no videos, open game manger, close it, open again, close it. start pinball x. image and audio now works. add an other table, all is now black and all i get is wheel images, again. scutters
I'm not sure why PinballX isn't picking up your table videos (or images), but as you have file matching set to False make sure the videos are named exactly as the table name or table description (and check which folder they are in) - a screen shot of the files and a copy of you database xml might help us. For the FTP / Gameex online you should use your email address now rather than forum userid - that was changed a while ago for security reasons.
